The main downside to Dominik successfully disbanding the judgment day and Liv dropping Raquel was that now, it really was just him and Liv and only them.

No more Carlito to keep Liv distracted with their petty bickering, no more Raquel to whisk her off to lunches and gym sessions, no Finn for her to roll her eyes at every time he opened his mouth; just her and Dominik.

And of course, he was more than over it already.

On Thursday, Dominik had woken up at the crack of fucking dawn again to train with Damian. He made it back to his hotel after 8AM and was able to nap for a little before meeting Liv in the dining area of the hotel for breakfast. Thankfully Liv didn't start her mornings until after 10AM.

So here he was sitting with her, half listening as he ate his food.

"...and then Raquel has the nerve to be all dramatic about it, like she didn't sign up for this," Liv huffed, stirring her iced coffee with an unnecessary amount of aggression. "She doubted me and you right to my face, but I'm the bad guy here?"

Dominik blinked at her slowly, stabbing his fork into his eggs as he fought the overwhelming urge to rest his head on the table.

He was so fucking tired.

Liv had been talking non-stop for the last twenty minutes; ranting about Raquel, gloating about how everything was going exactly how she planned, and probably trying to poke at whatever scraps of energy he had left.

Dominik had none.

He took another bite of his food, barely even chewing as he glanced at his phone screen resting on the table beside him.

"...helloooooo? Are you even listening to me?"

Liv's sharp voice snapped him out of his daze, and he slowly dragged his gaze up to meet hers.

"What?"

Liv rolled her eyes, sitting back in her seat with an exasperated sigh. "You're so distracted lately. What's up with you?"

Dominik resisted the urge to tell her to mind her fucking business.

Instead, he forced a shrug, shoveling another bite of food into his mouth. "I'm just tired."

Liv hummed, narrowing her eyes slightly. "You're always tired. You barely even talk to me anymore."

In reality Dominik barely talked to her to begin with but with them constantly around Finn and Raquel and everyone else, Liv never even noticed that her and Dominik rarely ever had actual conversations.

Letting out a sigh, he reached over and grabbed her hand.

"Sorry princesa, I was up early in the gym this morning. I'm tired as fuck right now."

Her brows furrowed. "You were?"

"Yeah, gotta get ready for Gunther."

Liv smirked. "Didn't think you were the 'early bird gets the worm' type."

He wasn't. Not even a little bit, but for Rhea he was.

"You're really taking this seriously Daddy Dom, that's cute."

Dominik glanced over at her. "Yeah, you should be too you know. Your match is just as important as mine."

He had to resist the urge to frown at the scoff that Liv let out.

"Now why would I waste my time with all that when we both know that with you in my corner, it'll be impossible for me to lose? You would never let that happen to me."
