Dominik sat in the clubhouse of the "new" judgment day, phone in hand with a smirk on his face. Liv was yapping at him about...something but he couldn't bother to care as he rapidly tapped his thumbs on his keyboard to respond to the text that flashed across his screen.
"Dominik!" Hearing his name made him quickly shoot his head up, eyes locking in on a very annoyed Liv whose face rested in a pout. "Are you even listening to me right now?"
"Yeah, yeah of course." He brushed off before returning his attention to his phone. "You wanna wear matching shirts around our waists tonight I heard you." Dominik replied as he resisted his urge to roll his eyes. He remembered her saying that a few minutes ago and hoped that what she was still talking about, with the way she talked in circles about the same things over and over again he was sure she still was.
It had only been a few weeks since summerslam and Liv was already starting to try to morph into a mini version of him and it drove him crazy. Everything Rhea had said about her was right; she couldn't be her own person even if she tried.
What started as a way to hide the small pouch in his stomach during the awkward stages of his weight loss, Dominik's signature cut up shirts around his waist had become his own style that he grown to actually love and Liv joined in on it the first chance she got.
She wanted to do everything like him, including begging him multiple times to reach out to the person that made his custom cowboy hat so she could have one of her own. He told he did but that was a lie. Dominik bought Catwoman tshirts to wear for her and that was gonna be the most he would do so she better enjoy it.
It was almost comical to him how she repackaged the gimmick she had with Rhea during their brief time tagging together and just applied it to her and Dominik.
Speaking of Rhea, she was the only reason why he was in this current situation to begin with, but he didn't mind he would do anything for her. Even if that meant pretending to actually like Liv.
When Rhea first presented the idea to him, he called her crazy, like borderline Drew McIntyre obsessed with CM Punk level crazy, but the more she explained it, the more he understood and actually respected her insane way of thinking.
So here he was, now Liv's boy toy, who clung to him like he really was a prize she won from a carnival game. The idea made him roll his eyes to himself but then he thought of Rhea, and the large smile of victory that would grace her face when their plan was all said and done and got over it.
Another text came in that had Dominik biting his lip to hide the excitement on his face.
Mami🖤: Supply closet down the hall from catering. I better see you there after your match.
Dominik shot up from his seat, realizing his match was next, now ready more than ever to get warmed up.
"Come on, let's go." He urged to Liv as he walked out of the locker room in a rush, leaving her behind. She caught up to him quickly and linked her arm in his with a huge smile.
Dominik trudged his way down the hall gripping his ribs in pain after his match. He had lost again. Just when he had got into his rhythm against Chad Gable, Liv got involved and everything went to shit. Dominik couldn't even remember the last time he won a singles match and it was starting to get frustrating.
First it was because Rhea was out injured and he didn't have her ringside. He then had a small stint of confidence once she returned but that was short lived thanks to Liv, JD, and Carlito who couldn't seem to stay away from his matches. Now having Liv ringside constantly just made everything even worse.
