Rhea sat up in her hotel bed against the headboard with Dominik sleeping soundly on her chest with his arms wrapped around her.

She was scrolling through social media to see the damage that Dominik's outburst from the night before had caused and, well it was bad.

The clip of Dominik going off on Jey in the ring was everywhere and garnered a lot of attention and mixed reactions.

Liv had already begun damage control on her end stating that her and "Daddy Dom" were smarter than everyone else and that he was simply playing mind games to trick Rhea into thinking he still cared. Granted it could be plausible but what good is playing mind games if you tell the whole world your plans?

Amateur. Rhea couldn't help but think to herself.

She glanced down at Dominik with the realization that this uproar was kind of all her fault.

Dominik never slept in this late. He was usually the first one up trying to drag Rhea out of bed because she had stayed up ridiculously late the night before. Watching him sleep so peacefully made her realize he was probably exhausted and hadn't gotten a good night's sleep in weeks, also her fault.

Rhea knew this whole thing was taking an emotional toll on Dominik but she hadn't considered just how much.

The way he reacted last night should have told her. The way he fucked her last night should have told her. The way his face held no emotion the majority of the time she saw him in passing glances should have told her. How did she miss all the signs?

Her protective nature over Dominik was starting to kick in. It made her want to hold him closer and keep him locked away with her in her hotel room forever. She didn't want to give him back to Liv, but she knew that was selfish. The irony was that he was only forced to be with Liv also because of her own selfishness.

But Rhea had always been selfish when it came to Dominik. She could recall practically screaming at Damian and Finn to focus on Rey and let her handle Dominik herself when they were trying to recruit him into the Judgment Day just simply because she didn't want anybody else touching him.

Dominik had always been hers, even before he was aware of it himself.

Scratching her nails through his scalp she sighed to herself. The feeling of guilt for her actions wasn't something she often experienced much but at this moment, it felt like a two ton weight laying on her chest as she watched Dominik sleep.

But she had good intentions for her actions last night...for the most part. She just wanted to help Dom. The second she learned that Jey actually won his finals match for the number one contender spot at the intercontinental championship, the plan practically made itself: help motivate Jey to beat Bron so Dominik could ultimately beat him and win the title. Rhea wanted to end his loss streak and light a fire in him that he could harness in the future. She meant well.

Okay and maybe yeah she was getting a bit jealous of watching Dominik with Liv and wanted to ruffle his feathers a little bit and make him hate fuck her, but that was neither here nor there.

Rhea locked her phone with a sigh, she had to fix this somehow. Another side quest in this convoluted hellfire that was now their lives. God she hoped it would all be worth it in the end.

She wanted to make it up to Dominik as well, but she wasn't sure how.

What would Dominik do?

She could get breakfast for them like he always did, that was a start. Rhea began to shimmy out of the hold he had on her which only made Dominik groan in his sleep and grip her tighter.
