"Are we sure we want to do this tonight?" Raquel asked Liv as they sat in the clubhouse at Raw. The boys were off preparing for Finn and JD's title defense against the War Raiders that was going to main event the show.
Liv briefly stopped reapplying her lipstick to shrug. "Yeah of course, why?"
"It's just...there's no coming back from this if we go through with it. They'll be definitive lines in the sand and sides." Raquel was starting to get nervous about the whole thing; being a part of the reason that Finn and JD were going to lose their titles tonight wasn't sitting right with her, they were supposed to be a team looking out for each other, why was that changing?
"Good." Liv said simply. "That's exactly what I want. It's time to stop this whole 'family' charade. I joined the judgment day to take it from Rhea and I succeeded, I don't need them anymore. Plus Dom and Finn have been bumping heads and Daddy Dom doesn't need the extra stress with his title match coming up, so it's better to just be done with them now."
Raquel had to roll her eyes. Of course this was about Dominik.
"You have a title match coming up too." Raquel reminded her. It had just been made official and announced on social media earlier in the day that Rhea would be receiving her rematch at Survivor Series and Liv had barely said two words about it since the news had come out.
There was an air about Liv tonight, something was different. She was calmer and quieter than normal which only made Raquel wonder what could possibly be running through her mind.
Liv continued to look at herself in her compact mirror as she made kissy faces, double checking that her makeup was just right.
"I'm aware." She said as she abruptly closed the mirror.
Raquel sighed, crossing her arms as she leaned back in her chair, her nerves getting the better of her. "I just don't know if this is the right move, Liv. Going against Finn and JD right now? That's a lot of heat to take on, especially with Rhea still coming after you too. Maybe we should play nice for a little longer until after your title match."
Liv rolled her eyes, standing up from her seat and smoothing out her skirt.
"You're overthinking it. This is a good idea, Raquel. We don't need Finn and JD. They're dead weight. And Carlito?" She scoffed. "He's too busy flirting with you to actually contribute anything meaningful."
Raquel frowned. "Liv, this isn't about Carlito. This is about you not thinking things through. You're isolating us from everyone, we barely have any allies as it is. And what about Dominik? Do you really think he's going to stick with us after this is all said and done?"
That made Liv pause, her expression shifting to one of confusion and slight offense. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Raquel hesitated for a moment before speaking, she knew she shouldn't have said it, but Liv wasn't thinking straight. "I mean...I just...."
She paused before sighing. Fuck it.
"I don't think he's as trustworthy as he lets on."
Liv's eyes widened, her jaw tightening as she stepped closer to Raquel. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me," Raquel said, trying to stay calm despite Liv's clear irritation. "Dominik is sneaky. And he doesn't care who he hurts, I mean look at his dad, Rhea!? And now Finn too? You can't think you're immune to his little games. It's only a matter of time before he betrays you too if it meant getting what he wants."
Liv couldn't believe what she was hearing. The absolute nerve of Raquel to accuse Dominik of being untrustworthy when he had proven time and time again that he would do anything for her. How could Raquel not see that?
