House shows were always fun. Less cameras, more chaos. Rhea thrived in this environment, connecting with the crowd, testing out moves from deep in her arsenal, moshing in the ring to her own entrance music. She lived for house shows where she could just do whatever she wanted.
Which is why when Bianca and Naomi asked her if she wanted to take Jade's spot in their six women tag match against PFC, Rhea literally jumped at the chance.
Rhea was lacing up her boots as Naomi sat on the ground in a split, stretching out her muscles while Bianca was digging through her bag looking for her earrings.
Naomi had one of her playlists playing as her and Bianca argued about...something, but Rhea had long tuned them out by now, deep in her own little world so she could get in the right headspace for their match.
She knew it would be an easy win for them but she still carried the same focus and intensity as she always did, Rhea treated every time she stepped into the ring like it was the biggest match of her career. That's how she kept herself above the rest.
"Love On Top is not her best song, what are you even talking about right now?" Bianca grumbled as she put her earrings in.
"Yes it is! All the key changes? The breath control? Please!"
Bianca remained unmoved and scoffed. "Literally everybody knows Dangerously in Love is her best song, be real."
Naomi rolled her eyes as she continued to stretch.
"That is such a basic bitch answer."
Bianca spun around to face her with a look of offense.
"Umm no, it's because it's a classic! You hear those piano keys and now you're in shambles crying over a man who doesn't even deserve you."
Naomi let out an exasperated sigh. "Beyoncé has made way too much music for one of very first singles to be her best, Dangerously in Love isn't even her best album." She defended.
"And 4 is!?"
"I never said that!"
Bianca just shook her head with a shrug as she started her own stretches making Naomi suck her teeth and glance over at Rhea.
"Big Momma, what do you think?" She pressed. "Tell Bianca she's wrong."
Rhea didn't even look up. "About what?" She grumbled.
"What's your favorite Beyoncé song?" Bianca asked.
"Don't have one."
"Everybody has one." Naomi declared.
Rhea finally looked up to see the pair staring at her impatiently.
"Not everyone. I don't even listen to Beyoncé." She frowned.
Silence.
Bianca and Naomi were looking at Rhea like they just found out she was the one that attacked Jade or something.
"Rhea, you're just so..." Bianca groaned as she rubbed her temples.
"See, this is what happens when yall let them Aussie kids run around listening to nothing but metal and hardcore punk their whole lives!"
Rhea rolled her eyes with a scoff. "You two are being ridiculous."
"No! You're ridiculous." Bianca retorted. "Naomi, we have to fix this."
"Oh god," Rhea huffed, standing up and dusting off her knees.
"I'm sending you her first album." Bianca declared as she pulled out her phone and went right to work. "And you better listen to it too, I'm not kidding."
