Rhea and Dominik were inseparable the days leading up to Summerslam and rightfully so. They barely spent more than a few minutes away from each other, working out together, running errands together that they would typically do alone, and even choosing to shower together. It was like they were trying to remember and savor every moment of being in each other's presence, Dominik especially.

He couldn't keep his hands off of her, constantly wrapping his arms around her whenever he could and tracing her tattoos with his fingers to get them engraved in his brain. They spent their days alone away from everyone else, cooped up in their various hotel rooms planning and enjoying each other's company.

But now the day had finally arrived and Dominik would be lying if he didn't admit he was a nervous fucking wreck. He was about to become the most hated man in the world, more hated than he already was, which he didn't even think was possible.

Their ride to the arena was silent, the gravity of what was going to occur in just a few hours lingering in the air. Dominik reached over and took Rhea's hand into his and rubbed his thumb against hers. Rhea glanced down at the gesture and smiled seeing their matching ghost tattoos mingling with one another.

"It's ironic isn't it?" Rhea spoke softly, making Dominik look over at her.

"Hmm?"

"We got these at Summerslam last year when we were mad about not being on the card," She chuckled. "Seems like we're always up to something around this time of year huh?"

Dominik let out a laugh of his own. "Yeah I guess so,"

"You can take the rental back to the hotel tonight, I'll...ride with the boys or something." Rhea muttered. She wasn't sure how the rest of Judgment Day would react to Dom's betrayal. Damian was going to try to kill him that's for sure, but she was uncertain about Finn & JD and she couldn't give two shits about Carlito but she still hoped they wouldn't be too hard on him.

Dominik tucked his lips into his mouth wondering if he should tell Rhea what he had been thinking about the last few months, it didn't seem appropriate to add any extra stress to her right now but he was almost 100% certain that he wasn't going to be the only Judgment Day member up to something tonight.

Finn had been acting off for awhile now, he barely even tried to hide his disdain towards Damian as of late. Rhea of course, didn't have a clue about any of this with her being gone but the air around TJD had been different for weeks now.

Damian acted as the leader but did no actual leading to the point he was oblivious to Finn's sneaking around with Liv. Dominik himself caught a glimpse of it at Raw over a month ago but chose to say nothing. Damian did little to help with his Liv problem besides yelling at him about it so he childishly kept the information to himself just like Damian did when he didn't warn him about Rhea coming back. It was petty, but he didn't care.

Just the thought of all the secrets and miscommunication while Rhea was away made him sigh heavily as they pulled into the arena. What the fuck had he got himself into?

Dominik had just finished an interview with Cathy when a crew member grabbed him to let him know Rhea had requested his presence.

He didn't even bother to knock on her locker room door and let himself in to find her pacing the room. Dominik approached her and grabbed her hands to calm her down.

"I'm going to hair and makeup soon, gotta get all my tears out now." Rhea said in a defeated voice. She fucking hated crying, especially in front of people. Dominik knew this so he didn't say a word and just pulled her into his arms, guiding her to rest her head on his chest.
