The Neighbouhood's album "I Love You" is playing on a loop, the dark and emotional sounds floating their way into a bleeding heart. The loneliness that haunts is wafting through the air with a bitter aroma; the music is all that I have to cling to. Every note intertwined together into an anomaly beside me. The persona of the music is the only comfort that I have. The persona has the only arms that will hold me, the only lips that will kiss me, and the only voice that will reassure me.
But the absence of a body to match the emotional understanding drives the dagger of loneliness deeper into my heart. If the only one who understands me is the personification of a song, then that is a very sad thing.
On the other hand, if the only thing that understands me is art, then I must just not be meeting enough human masterpieces.
//If you have some time, I encourage every one of you to take some time and really, truly listen to this album. It is a very intelligent and intricate piece of art that needs to be experienced. Enjoy.//
