Why can’t I seem to fall for something within my reach? I could avoid so much pain and heartbreak if I would fall for something that would fall back. Or if I would fall for something that all the right pieces would fall into place for.
But maybe it would be even better if I wouldn’t fall for anything at all. It really is a shame that it is too late for that.
I have already fallen for falling, and this is my terrible undoing. Now I will continue to fall, time and time again, breaking bones with every crash into the ground. Maybe someday Lady Luck will come to my aid with a plan to catch me from falling, but also maybe not. For she is fickle and fleeting, and not to be trusted with all one’s expectations. But this of course does not mean that I will not fall for the possibility anyway.
It is as I said, I fall for things that shouldn’t be fallen for.
This is my terrible undoing.
