The time has now come for "Speculations of an Artistic Mind: Jane's Thoughts" to come to an end. For the past year, this project, as well as the rest of my writing, has been greatly suffering due to the tumultuous events that have been occurring in my life. However, throughout all the tragedy and pain that has rained down in plenty this year, I have learned many great lessons and unexpected truths about myself, as well as the people closest to me. I believe that I have finally reached the point in the growth process where I can begin using everything that I have learned to pour myself into my art completely.
I mean, what's the point of going through so much if you don't turn it into something beautiful? Someone very important to me told me that.
So I apologize for my absence and sparse updating during 2015, but as I've alluded to, I have finally decided to pick myself up from where the year knocked me down, and I am feeling ready for the adventures that 2016 will bring. But I can't very well tackle a new year without any way to document it, of course, which leads me to announce the beginning of my new project, a sequel to "Speculations" that I plan to launch this Saturday, February 6, 2016 right here on Wattpad!
It is like the saying goes: "when one door closes, another one opens."
The same is true here.
