It’s amazing how one can be surrounded by so many people, and yet still feel completely alone. They don’t understand what you say, nor are they even capable of you in the first place. It is a maddening position to be in, one that is binding and nearly impossible to escape.

It is terrifying. You fear that you will either drive yourself to insanity, or worse, that you will slowly erode and mutate into your captors altogether. You know that you must escape, but how? How do you escape something so inescapable?

You find the loophole.

There is always a loophole.

Sometimes you have to search until your fingers bleed, but it is always there. Sometimes you have to search in the same places time and time again in order to see through the disguise, but it is always there.

I will find the loophole.

I will search as long and hard as necessary.

I will escape.

I will free myself, no matter what it takes.
