Ahehp stood in her bunker. That girl who just randomly showed up is out getting training or something.

Ahehp didn't really care. Her seps needed her at that moment.

She turned to look her seps in the face.

She would never truly understand the love a mother felt for her child. No boy would ever look at her that way. She didn't want that for herself, at least outwardly. If she had stayed. If she wasn't different. Maybe a family would be in store for her.

Instead she had her seps. It was beautiful. At least she thought so. It had a lace looking metal from one of the old music boxes people would use. Its motors were finely tuned. It would protect her, just like her father never had. Or perhaps once did, but could no longer.

Her anger overtook her. She turned to her work bench and threw the stuff on it to the ground.

"You seem to be angry," came a voice behind her.

"Only minorly."

"My programming says that I should remind you to take a breath and relax. Whatever is going on doesn't matter more than your well-being."

"Those aren't your words," she hissed.

"I don't don't know what you mean, Ahehp?" he was glitching.

"Those were the words... nevermind."Ahehp turned to Fisek to fix the glitching problem. After twisting a few wires back into place, she turned to pick up the mess that she made. Fisek bent down to help her.

"When you put that key into yourself, what did you see?" Fisek asked her as they busied themselves.

"I don't know for certain. All I know is that there is an entire world in my head and some of the places are locked."

"Interesting. That girl who was here earlier, who was she?" Fisek asked, clearly trying out his small talk function.

"She claims her name is Korei but she stuttered when I asked so I can't be too certain."

"Reasonable apprehension. Have you thought about using your key on her?"

"It's still in the test phase. I would have to get her permission first and such."

"Well, why not try to get her permission first?"

"I don't know. You're right Fisek, thank you."

They collected all of the scattered objects which Ahehp had thrown.

A knock rang loudly from the door.

"What was that?" Fisek spoke Ahehp's thoughts.

"I don't know," she whispered.

Grabbing a whelp, a handled thingamajig that was used for tightening bolts, she walked to the bunker door.

I really need to install a peephole, she thought.

Ahehp opened the door.
