Nesrin felt her body grow heavy, each step dragged her down.
"Where are we going?" she heard Faolan complain next to her.
"There is a place I need to show you. Both of you."
The hallway that they were walking down seemed to never end.
Suddenly, Ettrian stopped. Nesrin almost ran into him.
"You two must go in," Ettrian said loudly, "Take this with you. It will help." he whispered, and slipped Faolan what looked to be a tiny knife. Faolan nodded slightly. Nesrin saw the slightest movements the two made and was confused. Why would they need to be secretive?
Ettrian opened the door for them, before shoving them into the dark room that lay beyond.
Nesrin toppled forward. She fell on her face and her chest ached after she landed on it.
Faolan was first to recover of the two. Of course, Nesrin noticed that. What she didn't notice was the giant zoslte towering over them. Or the countless others that were circling them.
A voice spoke loudly through the room. Nesrin could only guess that it was Ettrian.
"For this training you are to defeat all of the zoslte. If you fail, you will die."
Faolan lifted Nesrin up.
Nesrin stood on her own two feet and prepared herself to dodge the zoslte.
