My head leaned against the window, as we drove back to where it all started, the Mafia's home but this time I'm being treated differently.
I'm his girlfriend's friend.
“Are you okay, Ma’am?” Alfred asked as he took my bags from me.
I chuckled before answering him warmly,” I'm fine Alfred, thank you,” I gave him a pat on the back before Joseph held my hand and pulled me closer.
“You must be exhausted,” Joseph said, placing sloppy kisses on my face.
“You are damn right,” I huffed.
Lara and James walked into the house and we followed suit. I made my way to our room, Joseph suggested we stay together now that we are official. I took a shower, changed into one of Joseph's shirts, and dozed off even though I was so hungry.
“Hey, I brought your food upstairs, you slept like six hours,” Joseph said, placing a kiss on my cheek.
“Oh my goodness, are you serious?” I yawned tiredly.
I had slept six hours but I was still tired.
“Joseph, I have been meaning to ask you something,” I grabbed the cup of orange juice that was sitting on a stool next to me.
“Sure, anything,” he said, putting away his laptop and twirling his chair toward me.
“The man that held us at gunpoint in Timothy's house, what did you say to him? Why did he let us go without a fight?” I asked.
“He is an old friend, Zola, I was only diplomatic. By the way, a friend called and informed me that his body was found in a ditch, decapitated.”
I threw my fork away and clutched my shirt “What?! How?” I asked.
“I don't know to be honest but Darla is a pretty weird girl.” He said and simply turned away.
I don't know why I have the slightest idea that it could be Joseph.
“And no, it's not me, Zola,” he said.
“Call me Bella,” I was surprised my voice came out assertive.
“You want me to call you Bella all of a sudden?” Joseph raised an eyebrow.
I wish this wasn't about Barron but it was.
“Someone used to call me that and I liked it so I think I'd like it even more if you called me that,” I concentrated on my meal.
“Roja that, Princess,” he said and turned back to his study table.
Joseph fell asleep so I went to the lounge to relax and think about other things. It briefly crossed my mind that Ama is gone and I haven't seen Andrews in a long while either.
“Something bothering you, Pretty?” Lara asked, sitting next to me.
“Nothing much, I promise” I assured her but the heavy sigh I released afterward told a different story.
“C’mon talk to me,” she urged.
“ I need to find someone, Lara but I don't know how,” I said.
“As long as you know this person's name and a few other pieces of information, I have a friend that's really good at finding people,” she said.
She just always has a solution, doesn't she?
“Uhmm… well his name is Barron Jacobs, I really don't know where he lives but he acts like he lived in America his whole life. We are both Americans of course but I met him in South Africa m, he should be twenty-two and he owns a five-star hotel in South Africa called The Bellarron.” I paused upon realizing he merged our names and named his hotel after it.
Oh my god, isn't he just the sweetest?
“Is something wrong, Zola?” Lara asked
“Not at all,” I replied.
“ I got all the information, He'd get to me as soon as he can,” she said.
“Thank you, Lara,”
“I know it's a bit cold but do you mind going for a swim,” she seemed so excited I just couldn't refuse.
“Sure,” I replied and we both went upstairs to get dressed.
I slipped into a matching blue bikini and freed my hair from its bun.
“ Is my lady going for a swim?” Joseph groaned from his sleep, yawning.
“You slept for ten minutes and you are bothered about where I'm going?” I walked towards him.
He was now sitting on the bed, he pulled me in between his legs and began kissing my stomach.
“Hmmn, you look so yummy,” he groaned so sexily, slapping my ass.
Joseph is that one man that's going to make being celibate hard.
“Do you want to join me in the pool?” I climbed into his legs and kissed the hell out of his juicy lips.
“I'll join you in a few minutes,” he said like he was battling sleep.
“Ok,” I replied, climbing off his legs.
He slapped my ass again as I made my way out of the room. As I approached the pool, I noticed James was in too and Alfred was just standing a few feet away with a gun tucked into his pockets I'm sure.
“I thought it was girls only,” I said, stepping into the pool.
“Ohh, I'm sorry, James wanted to come and I thought that Joseph would join us,” she replied.
“ It's okay, Joseph was sleeping and has probably gone back to sleep,” I said as the cold water met with my skin.
“Looks like he is wide awake,” Lara was looking over my shoulder and I turned around.
Alfred was walking towards the pool in swim shorts, running his hands through his hair so sexily. I bit my lip and watched him walk into the pool.
“ I was thinking you'd go back to sleep,” I gave him a big smile and wrapped my hand around his neck.
“And miss this beautiful view of you, hell no,” He kissed me on the lips.
“I have always wanted to fuck in a pool you know, it's on my bucket list,” he said and I smiled.
“Well, let's make your dream come true,” I whispered before crashing our lips.
He kissed me so passionately and aggressively and I loved it. It was almost extending to something else when he pulled away.
“Not while almost everyone’s watching, Princess,” He said.
I was a little disappointed but he was right. We stayed in the pool for a while before we finally decided to go inside before we all froze.
I was back to wearing Joseph’s shirt but I think I left my cell phone outside.
“I think I left my phone outside, I'd go check,” I said and made my way outside.
It was already getting dark, something around seven pm I guess.
“Where's your boyfriend, whore,” I heard a familiar voice coupled with heavy footsteps, it sounded like more than two people.
I raised my head to see Ama standing with the corps and wearing an FBI uniform.
Ohh my fucking god.
