It's funny how one minute your life is in order and it feels like everything is going great and the next minute your boyfriend's ex-mistress is storming into his house wearing an FBI uniform with the corps, ordering his arrest. It's been weeks since My Joseph was arrested and I have two more days to leave this house as a lot of his assets, documents, and funds are being seized by the government.
“Have you finally decided where to go?” Lara asked me for the one-hundredth time in two days while handing me an envelope that contained Barron's contact.
“I'm returning to South Africa, Lara,” I said. “And I think I should start packing,” I added before leaving.
Me: Barron, it's Bella. I'm going to explain everything when I get to South Africa but I'm coming home and I need you to pick me up before Tobias does.
I sent a text to Barron before dozing off.

The next morning, I was rolling my bags out the front door, leaving with clothes I never thought I could afford all because of Joseph. Lara will be dropping me at the airport but first, I need to stop to see Joseph.
“I'm sorry, Miss Jacobs but Mr Smith has been transferred to a private prison and I doubt they'll let you see him in there.” A Warden informed me.
I was about to give up when Alfred suddenly grabbed my hand.
“Ohh, Alfred, I thought you ran away,” I hugged him.
“It's good to see you again, Ma’am. By the way, I can get you to see Joseph,” he said
He led Lara and me to a private prison. Joseph was imprisoned for running a drug empire, multiple kidnaps, and murders that were not exactly proved yet he is getting a five-star room with nice glass doors as a cell.
“I see you are comfortable,’ I said to Joseph, wishing I could break through the silly glass and jump right into his arms.
“ Are you leaving me, Princess?” He looked more comfortable than someone who's going to be spending a lot of time in prison,”.
“I'm returning to South Africa,” I replied, letting the tears I had been holding all along flow down my cheeks.
“Don't cry, Bella, I'd be out in no time and I'd find you no matter where you are in the world,” A playful smirk played around his face.
“ I hope so,” I couldn't control the tears.
“You shouldn't stay here long Zola, you have a flight to catch. I never hoped that I'd say this but I love you, I love you, Bella Jacobs,” Joseph said and I could but bury my face in my palms wailing like a child and sinking to the ground.
After a few minutes, Alfred came and tried to take me away but I was broken. My one chance at finding love and it was ruined by that silly Ama. So help me god the next time I see her, I'm going to have her block all over my hands.
I tugged at the glass separating me from Joseph, hoping it would all come crashing down but nothing happened. Alfred tried to calm me down but I wasn't listening.
“I love you, Joseph Smith,” I cried. I could see the pain written all over his face but there was nothing we could do.
Some other wardens came to drag me out. I finally calmed the hell down and had Lara drive me to the airport where I waved her goodbye and waited for my flight.
“Hello,” a man sat next to me before pressing his gun on my belly.
Urghhhh, these things need to stop happening for real.
“What do you want?” I gritted, hoping I'm not being abducted by some silly Mafia my Father owes again.
“You see that car over there,” he pointed at a nice car with tinted windows. “ We are going for a ride,” he explained.
He tucked his gun away and led me to the car. We both settled in and the driver began driving us to wherever. Soon we arrived at a luxury small house, whoever this is isn't so rich.
The man led me into the living room and why wasn't I surprised to see Andrew and Abena or should I say Simone sitting in the living room?
“Hello, Zola, do you miss me?” Andrew chuckled evilly while his wife gulped down a cocktail.
“I hoped I'd never have to see you again,” I spat.
“Your cute little Boyfriend has been arrested by Agent Ama, hasn't he?” He laughed.
For some reason, I knew he was aware of Ama’s plans all along but intentionally betrayed Joseph so he could get away with his own crimes.
“You are going to be staying with me now,” he gritted.
“Well, not for long,” I snapped.
“Take her away,” he ordered the man that was holding me.
I was led into a room. I guess this is going to be my home for a while. I hid my phone safely, hoping to keep in touch with Barron so he'd get me out of there.
After dinner with the evil couple, I locked my door and grabbed my phone, happy to see that Barron had texted me, informing me that he was in America and we should return together.
Me: There's a little problem, Barron, I have been kidnapped by a lunatic who isn't satisfied with his wife and yes I have no idea where I am. Can you track my phone or something?
I sent the text and waited patiently for a reply. The security was so tight there was no way I could escape without being killed.
I heard a knock on my door, I immediately hid my phone and went ahead to open the door. Andrew walked into my room and locked the door behind him.
“Did you miss me, Zola? Because I missed you.” Andrew had a weird smile on his face and he was making his way towards me.
He grabbed my throat and pinned me against the wall.
“Release my throat if you don't want to lose your balls,” I gritted.
He released my throat but closed the gap between us.
“I'd do anything to fuck you again, Zola,” he said and I slapped him, pushing him away from me.
