Two Nyrolds

Enora's POV.

Principal Ripley paused in front of one of the school's auditoriums, grabbed the doorknob, and twisted it slowly. It felt like torture to watch him struggle to open the goddamn door. Finally, we walked into the barely lit auditorium but of course, I'd recognize my parents even in an Abyss. We all split respectively towards our parents.

Suddenly a few bright lights came on and I sighted Mrs Alora Williams standing next to the light switch. Barron had a smile on his face, my mom and he were throwing slide glances but I saw how it made her uncomfortable. Just like my dad noticed, he stepped forward, blocking them from seeing each other anymore.

Ama was also nervously eyeing my dad who didn't even seem to notice her. She did get him arrested and locked up and that is probably the reason why all these happened in the first place.

“I'm glad to have Noble, reputable, and beautiful individuals in the room this Afternoon,” Mrs Williams began while Principal Ripley cleared his throat suspiciously behind her.

“My kid broke something and you want payment for it. Here's my card or do you want cash?” Andrew said, pulling out his wallet.

“You haven't changed much, have you? Not everything is about your money, Andrew,” Ama snapped at Andrew.

Oh oh.

“Do I know you?” Andrew raised an eyebrow at her.

“Say that Again, Ass hole,” she muttered beneath her breath but the echoes of the almost empty auditorium transported it.

“You want to tell me what to do when you walk into a high school full of underaged kids in that skimpy dress,” Andrew said with a smirk on his face.

Aren't they allies? Are they pretending to be enemies?

Ama was about to say something when my dad cut her off. “ Why are you guys fighting? Didn't you conspire to kill me?” My mom pulled him back and eyed him to shut the fuck up.

I caught Alfred trying to contain his laughter.

“Aren't you the man whose wife has slept with all our husbands?” Barron’s wife said, earning a gasp from everyone.

My dad clenched his fist and my mom pulled him and Nael to herself, trusting that I wouldn't do something stupid. Her face was flushed with embarrassment by the way. Why are the Nyrolds holding onto that silly information?!

“Except mine,” Ama said like she was proud about it.

“... And you are the rebound?” My father said to Barron’s wife, ignoring Ama. Most of us clasped our hands over our mouths. “You should be glad your husband had the opportunity to be with my wife,” my dad was ready to stoop so low.

“Besides…” Aria’s sweet voice echoed in the room. “Aren't you the deranged and perverted Nurse who took advantage of a patient's amnesia?”

Oh my god. They are really going after each other. I could see Jullian clench his jaw but Barron still had a smile on his face.

Tobias cleared his throat. “You are married to Joseph's errand boy who does his dirty jobs for him and you are so confident?”

“Coming from a perverted, abusive drug dealing human trafficker,” Alfred gritted.

They are acting like kids, silly troubled teenagers.

“Alfred shut up,” Andrew lashed at him.

“You aren't any different from Tobias, how much did he offer you to betray Joseph? Some random wore to suck your pathetic dick?!” Ama snapped.

“Parents!” Mrs Alora finally spoke. I almost forgot they were there.

“Aren't you the serial killer disguised as an FBI Agent or Secret Agent whatever?” Andrew's wife spoke, her eyes filled with darkness, she was completely different from the harmless attorney I saw moments ago. “ Ohh and you know why you weren't able to kill Joseph and Alfred? It's because you enjoyed fucking them both,” Finn smirked like he was proud of his mother.

Ama’s face was flushed with embarrassment.

God, what do I do to stop this mess?

Janae slightly pushed her mom forward like she was encouraging her to speak.

“Parents!” Tobias' wife said, walking towards the front, her heels clicking against the ground. Her voice was deep but somewhat sweet.

“We are all just angry about shit that happened years ago and we are dragging our children into this same mess. Our children are avoiding each other, beating up each other, conspiring against each other, and getting into trouble because of what we had in the past,” her voice sounded firm but subtle.

“We need to fix this but this is not the time. I'm inviting you all to my husband's Dinner two hours away, I'll send you all the addresses, be there so we can fix this for our children, and trust me when I say Tobias is no longer who he was, he is a changed man. Let him prove himself.”

My mother scoffed next to me. She doesn't believe he can change.

“You sound like a man,”

“get out of here”

“What makes you think I'm going to want to sit with you assholes?”

“Evil doers never change!”

They all threw comments here and there.

“For the sake of the pact you all made in Greece eleven years ago, please let's be there,” Barron finally spoke.

“What?! You weren't even there,”

“I told you Barron was behind it,”

“They are hatching an evil plan,”

comments went around again.

Crystal dragged her parents out of the hall and I did that with mine too. I made them settle our part of the debt as well but we were informed that Barron cleared the debt.

They went home and we returned to class, still obviously overwhelmed by the silliness that went on at the auditorium. They really do not like each other at all. Crystal kept drinking water repeatedly which means she's stressed or probably worried about something.

Is this all a plan to take revenge?

Are they genuinely angry with each other for petty reasons?

Is there more than meets the eye?

What's going on?

The most pressing question goes, are they all going to show up at the diner? Will we be allowed to talk and have a say in this beef?

Suddenly a young beautiful girl with dark brown hair marched into our class. She’s so beautiful and something about her attracts me but I don't know what exactly.

My side glance catches Jemimah who is sitting next to Finn rolling her eyes and Janae sitting next to Jullian smiles at her. Do they know her?

“Good day class,” she began “ My name is …

She was cut off by Jullian who pulled her by her arm outside the class. We hear raised voices from behind the door but nobody can grasp what it was about.

Then Jullian stormed into the class and took his seat. His expression was serious and his jawline more obvious like he was angry.

“I'm going to be your substitute teacher while your actual teacher is indisposed.” She continued.

“My name is Amy Nyrold,” she smiled.

Crystal and I locked gazes.

Amy Nyrold as in Jullian Nyrold’s older sister?

What the hell is she doing here?!
