Enora's POV

“Against me?” I finally broke the few seconds of silence.

She looked at me, her eyes were perfectly highlighted which made her face look really beautiful.

“I think the real challenge should be against Nadia, you pathetic Hobo,” I smirked at her awful comment which was very unlike me.

“You are a new girl, no one is going to vote for you over Nadia or me,” I made a very reasonable point.

“Uhmm… your mother married her kidnapper and betrayed the potential love of her life and you want to tell me what to do?” she grunted.

“Must you bring our parents into everything?” Crystal raised an eyebrow at her.

Before the tension calmed, I needed to respond to her pettiness.

“And your father? He goes around buying, abducting, and abusing girls your age,” I grinned.

She looked hurt but I wasn't bothered, I was more bothered about the other twin who was sitting next to me.

“I'm sorry,” I mouthed.

“It's okay,” she seemed cool and disappointed in her sister.

“By the way, Nadia is stepping down to be my running mate.” She said and then went back to her seat.

Nadia is stepping down? That's weird because she's so arrogant she'd never accept that. I have seen them together these past few weeks, what the hell are they planning?

“I'm sorry about my sister, she's really an ass. I have lived my life apologizing for the silly things she has done,” she huffed.

“It's okay, it's the same with my brother,” I grinned.

I leaned back to read her essay and every bit of it was captivating. I caught a glimpse of her saying her number one goal for the day we got into trouble was to keep apologizing to Jullian for what her sister did and make sure he was fine.

If Janae seemed to see the need to keep apologizing and Amy took up a job as our teacher to keep an eye on him what Jemimah did must have been really bad then.

But what?

“Thank you, it's beautiful,” I smiled at her and got motivated to write about my day.

I made a mental note to talk to Annabelle after detention hours were over. She seemed distant just the way she had been with her cheerleading crew for a few days now.

My mind momentarily flashed the images of Ama and Aria through my mind, they look so much alike but I didn't want to put too much meaning to it.

It was time for a little break. Just then Philp and Nadia walked into the classroom. I remembered last night with Philip and I smirked as we made eye contact. They went to Jullian for a bit and I noticed Philp holding a conversation with Jemimah… how??

Janae was nowhere to be found by the time Philip made his way towards me. He pulled out three large chocolate (coconut) bars from his pockets and gave them to me.

“Thank you,” I smiled.

Even though I hate coconut, the smell hates everything.

“I don't think she likes Coconut chocolates,” Jullian said like a creep who had been studying us, his wild cat sitting pretty beneath his legs.

“How would you know that?” Philp jerked up, jealousy obvious in his tone.

“He is my boyfriend, he knows what I like and I love them,” I defended Philp.

Jullian only smirked and looked away.

Philp and I discussed for a while before they had to leave, break time was over. I bit a huge chunk of the chocolate he got me before he left to prove that I liked them. After he was gone, I rushed to the bathroom to puke out the disgusting chocolate and tossed the rest into the trash.

I noticed someone walk into the ladies’ bathroom but it wasn't a lady, a strong male cologne filled my nostrils.

“I thought you said you liked them,” Jullian mocked.

“And you are in the ladies’ bathroom,” I raised an eyebrow.

He walked very close to me, I could also inhale the sweet scent of his body lotion or probably soap and the heat radiating from his skin. He placed a hand on mine that was resting casually on the washing hand basin.

“I think I just enjoy breaking the rules,” he said, I was lost in his eyes and he snapped me back to reality.

He turned around and left the bathroom.

Jerk.

“Hey,” I met with Annie just before she bolted into her car.

“Hey,” she smiled and gave me a warm hug.

“I just wanted to be sure you are fine, you have been a little distant lately, especially from your friends,” I pointed out.

“Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking, I feel like with everything going on right now, I don't want to be around friends like that so my kids don't inherit potential parent beef in their high school,” she made a joke at our current predicament that made me laugh.

“Yeah, I get it”,” I have her a reassuring squeeze on her shoulders.

“Besides, I don't like whatever Nadia is planning next. She doesn't even want to be a stupid student body president, she just doesn't want it to be you. I wonder how your brother manages to date someone that hates you that much,” she said and then entered her car and drove off.

Her words made me feel somehow. I thought that Nadia and I got past the hate stage already. What else does she want? Nael probably doesn't notice because he hates me too, doesn't care about me, and has never been sensitive enough to consider my feelings.

I was filled with anger as I stormed towards my car, climbed into it, and drove home as well.

What the hell is Nadia planning?

If I had thought that Nadia was going to ruin my life in the next two weeks, I would have dropped out of the student body president race and just give her what she wants, try to stop it.
