Enora's POV

It's known that the parking lot of Noble Crest High is usually a battleground for the finest and most luxurious cars. On a Tuesday morning, the parking lot was filled with more cars than usual. Very likely cars of the new Mafia kids that just moved into our city.

I decided to drive my red Porsche to school this morning since Nael ditched me yesterday. The story told wasn't different from what I heard from my mom, maybe a different POV but still the same story. No one wants to talk about who Tobias is exactly, why he possesses so much power, and what Mafias do exactly because they have so much money. My dad is one, I know.

Apparently, they are moving here because there's an ongoing hunt for a particular Mafia boss and they are all trying to keep their heads low. Usually, it was very obvious that my high school was filled with Mafia children, sons, and daughters of billionaires and politicians.

As I got out of my car, my eyes landed on Jullian getting out of an Aston Martin. Wow, a different car for every day.

I avoided his look and just went to class. I have been working on my speech for the upcoming debate for the student body president elections but I have been a little swayed by family drama and my appointed newbie.

I walked into class after returning a book I borrowed from the library and sat in my seat between Crystal and my cousin Lili.

“Yesterday was weird,” Crystal whispered in my ears just as our teacher walked in.

“For some reason, I have a feeling it's only going to get more weird,” I responded and brought out my book.

“Crystal told me everything,” Lili whispered as well.

Lili is James and Lara’s daughter. They own legit businesses so I don't think they are a part of this. My dad and James are twins but they are not identical unlike Nael and me, Nael is like the male version of me.

Something tells me Barron isn't here for revenge, he is just here to lay low as he should. Everyone is overreacting.

“Ahh, and we keep getting more new students,” the teacher's words interrupted Crystal, Lili and I’s texting.

I raised my head to see two raven-haired princesses, both had unique color aesthetics but they looked exactly alike it was almost impossible to tell them apart.

Just when I thought my senior year was going to be perfect. Nael and I are the only twin seniors but I guess that's incorrect now.

The blue aesthetic girl sat next to Finn, the other new boy, and the black aesthetic girl sat next to Jullian. So now we have hot school gist, the two new hot guys have paired themselves with the two new hot twins.

“Please, introduce yourself to the class,” the teacher instructed.

The twin next to Jullian stood up immediately. “I'm Janae Tobias Lord,” the name rang several bells.

Crystal, Nael, and I made eye contact swiftly and waited for the other girl.

“Jemimah Tobias Lord,” The other girl said in her seat, her arms crossed over her chest.

Yeah, she's the arrogant and rude twin. Every twin set has one.

“We are literally doomed,” I whispered to Crystal and she grabbed my hand and squeezed it firmly.

I watched closely at how Jullian and the girl next to him were having silent chats. She even poured him chocolates that he poured into his bag and kept. I might have to avoid Jullian all day till our parents decide to sort out this shit between them all.

“How many of you love your parents Jobs?” The teacher asked, I had no idea how she got here but I definitely don't even know the details about my parents' job, so how could I like it?

A girl raised her hand. Annabelle, fondly called Annie by Nadia and the other cheer squad. Annie is this perfect beautiful blonde who is qualified to be a member of silly Nadia’s gang and the cheer squad. Nadia and her crew are obsessed with popularity, influencing the school, dating the most handsome and popular guys, and oppressing geeks, other students who worship them, and supposed threats and that is why Nadia is going against me for student body president.

“I love my mom’s Job. She's a secret Agent that brings down bad guys,” Annie seemed to be really proud of her mom's Job.

I wish my mom was like that instead of having sex or getting involved with the bad guys.

For lunch, Crystal and I hid our lunch in our bags and went to our secret spot in the library. Hoping it would stall me away from Jullian and give us room to talk but while hiding away from Jullian and Janae we got stuck in the library even after the bell. We were not able to get back to class fast enough so we stayed at the library instead.

We were caught by the librarian a few minutes later and given three hours of detention after school hours. Crystal and I were sad and devastated as we walked towards the detention room, I have literally never had detention before, unlike my trouble-making brother. I had the sudden urge to call Nael and check up on him. His number was dialed twice before I looked up and was entirely shocked by the sights that met me in the detention room.

“Nael, what the hell are you doing here?” I gritted at him.

“For fighting with Jullian,” Nael replied below his breath.

Jillian, Finn, Crystal, Nael, and I were the ones in detention.

“Why?” I covered my face with my palm disappointedly.

“He was snooping around the boys’ locker room like a gay creep,” Nael said, his voice laced with irritation.

“You are supposed to stay away from him, silly,” I pushed his head slightly in annoyance.

“How is Finn here?” Crystal asked.

“He tried to separate the fight,” Nael responded.

Crystal and I sighed frustratedly and took our seats waiting for the teacher in charge of detention for today to arrive. I was trying to use my phone as much as possible because as soon as he or she arrives, our phones will be confiscated.

Several footsteps approached the detention room which made us all compose ourselves. The worst teacher in the school walked in, Mrs Williams Alora accompanied by the new twins and blonde Annie.

Can today get any worse? I know I should probably stop saying that because it eventually gets worse.
