Chapter 19: finding out.

Today is 4 weeks since the transfer and autumn and Charlotte can finally test to see if they're going to have a baby.

Autumn wakes up and instantly runs to the bathroom and start being sick Charlotte wakes up and rushes into the bathroom and holds autumns hair and rubs her back. "Are you okay darling are you feeling sick." Charlotte asks and feels autumns head but she's not got a temperature or anything. "I'm fine sweetheart and no I don't feel sick or anything I'm okay to still go into work with you." Autumns says and they both get dressed and wake the girls up and do breakfast for them and have a coffee while the girls eat their breakfast. "Are you ready." Autumns says asks. "Yes mama." The girls say. They make their way to the front door and lock it and get in the car and autumn starts driving to drop the girls off at school. They arrive at the school and the girls get out and say bye and go into school.

They drive to the nursery which is only 20 minutes from the school. They arrive at the nursery and get out of the car walk hand in hand to the office. "Morning Marjorie." Charlotte says walking into the office with autumn. "Morning my love how are you." Marjorie says. "I'm fine Marjorie how are you." Charlotte says and autumn sits at her desk. "I'm good my love." Marjorie says. "Well I'm going to the room." Charlotte says and hives autumn a kiss. "Remember darling no straining yourself or heavy lifting." Charlotte whispers to autumn making sure Marjorie doesn't hear. "I know my love don't worry." Autumn whispers back and gives her another kiss Charlotte leaves to go to the room.

*20 minutes later*

Autumn covers her mouth because she feels sick again and runs to the bathroom immediately. Marjorie is confused and concerned. Autumn goes back into the office. "Are you alright autumn." Marjorie says. "I'm fine Marj-." Autumn is cut off by another bout of sickness and rushes straight back to the bathroom. Marjorie rings the pre-school room. "Hello." Carly picks up. "Hiya Carly is Charlotte there." Marjorie asks. "Yeah." Carly says. "Could you put her on please." Marjorie says and Carly passes the phone to Charlotte. "Hi Marjorie is everything okay." Charlotte says. "Hi my love everything's fine I'm just ringing about autumn." Marjorie says. "Why what's happened is she okay." Charlotte says worried. "Yes yes my love it's just she's run to the bathroom twice in the space of 5 minutes." Marjorie says. "I'll go check on her Marjorie." Charlotte says hanging up. Charlotte goes to the bathroom. "Darling are you okay." Charlotte says entering the bathroom. Autumn flushes the toilet and leaves the stall. "Yes my love I'm fine but could you go to the shop and get me a test on your lunch." Autumn says. "Wait what." Charlotte says and her eyes widen. "My sweet this is how my first pregnancy was before you know." Autumn says smiling at Charlotte. "I'll go out to the shops on my lunch break do you want me with you when you take it." Charlotte says. "Yes of course I want you with me my love it's your baby too." Autumn says.

Charlotte pulls autumn in by her suspenders and kisses her passionately. "Better get back to work Mrs knight." Autumn says making Charlotte blush. "Yes boss." Charlotte says and autumn bites her lip and pulls Charlotte in for another kiss. They leave the bathroom and go their separate ways. An hour later Charlotte goes on her lunch and walks to the shop a cross the road and gets the test she used when she was pregnant with Kasey and Gracie. After Charlotte buys the test she walks back over to the nursery and walks to the office and knocks on the door. "Come in." Marjorie says from inside. "Hiya my love you okay." Marjorie says. "Yes I'm fine Marjorie." Charlotte says and autumn looks up at Charlotte and stands up. "I'll be back Marjorie." Autumn says leaving the office with Charlotte. "Here you go babe." Charlotte says giving autumn the test. "Thank you baby I'll be out in a minute." Autumn says and takes the test.

Autumn comes out of the stall and sets a timer on her phone and faces the test down and wraps her arms around Charlottes waist while they wait for the timer. The timer goes off after 3 minutes. "Do you want to check it or me." Charlotte says. "How about we both turn it on the count of 3." Autumn says and they both get one side of the test. "1..2..3." Both Charlotte and autumn count and turn the test over. Autumns and charlottes eyes widen and tear up. "I-lts positive." Autumn stammers. "We're having a baby." Charlotte says wrapping her arms around autumn. "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!" Autumn says and picks Charlotte up and spins her around autumn puts Charlotte back down and kisses her passionately. "Let's go before Marjorie gets suspicious." Autumn says and they leave the bathroom and put the test in charlottes bag. "We'll tell the girls tonight." Charlotte whispers and her hand discreetly on autumn's stomach so Marjorie doesn't see as autumn sits at her desk. Autumn puts her hand on top of charlottes and nods.

"I best get back my lunch is over I'll see you after work love." Charlotte says. "Okay my sweet I'll see you after work." Autumn says and gives Charlotte a kiss and Charlotte leaves the office and goes back to the room, there still 4 hours left of her shift. Charlotte gets involved in an activity with the children. The 4 hours fly by and the first parent walks in. Charlotte does hand over with the parents and after the last child goes home she starts cleaning the room. "My sweet." Autumns says. "Yes my love." Charlotte says and turns around. "Are you almost finished." Autumn says. "Yes darling I'll be finished in a minute." Charlotte says finishing the last bits of cleaning.

"All done darling let's go." Charlotte says and laced her hand with autumns and they walk to the car and drive to get the girls. 20 minutes later they arrive at the school and wait in the playground for the girls to come out. The girls come running out. "Mum, mama!" The girls shout and charge at Charlotte and autumn. "Hi girls did you have a good day at school" Charlotte and autumn say. "Yes it was good we do lots of play and art." The girls say. "Come on let's go home me and mama have something to tell you both when we get home." Charlotte says. "Okay mum." The girls say they get in the car and drive home. They arrive home and go inside and take their shoes and coats off and go into the living room and sit down. "What did you want to talk about mum." Kasey asks. "Well um me and mama." Charlotte starts and pulls the test out of her bag. "What's that." Lilly asks. "Well girls mamas pregnant you're going to have a baby sister or brother." Charlotte says. "REALLY" the girls shout. "Yes darlings." Autumn says and puts her hand on her stomach and Charlotte puts her hand on top of autumns. The girls run and hug autumn and Charlotte tightly. "How about we order  in tonight." Charlotte says and goes to order from the take away. And goes back into the living room to see autumn sat with the girls on the sofa and the girls rest their heads on either side of autumn's stomach.
