Chapter3: Autumns house

Autumns pov:
After a while Charlotte falls asleep on my sofa. But I can't help wonder did anything else happen other than the divorce. It is currently 10pm and all she has eaten all day is half a pot noodle. I go back to the living room and carefully shake up awake "char you have to get up you need to eat" I say calmly and she sits up and flinches away from me. As I went touch her. "What do want to eat." I say sitting next to her but not to close as to not scare her. I look at her concerned that she flinches at my touch and Marjorie said when she had touched her arm in Reece's office she pushed her away and flinched. "Can we just get pizza please." She said looking at me with a small smile. "Sure what one do you want." I asked her gently putting my hand her leg to give her some comfort and sense of safety. "Can I just have a small pepperoni pizza please." She says placing her hand on top of mine. "Of course I'll be back in a minute I just need to ring them and order it okay." I say going to stand up to ring them and walking into the hallway to order it and go back into the living room to find Charlotte sleep again I go sit down and admiring her .

*30 minutes later*

The doorbell rang was I really just sat there for 30 minutes admiring her. I went to the door and took the pizza and paid and went back to Charlotte. "Char foods here." I say walking over to the sofa. And she sat up I handed her, her pizza and put the cookies on the table. Charlotte finished her pizza and put the box on the table. "Well done char I'm so proud of you for eating." I say smiling at her and putting my box on the table and sitting back.

"Char do you want to go to bed?" I ask her because I can see how tired she is from not sleeping. "Yes but uh can I sleep with you again I just don't want to be alone and I feel safe with you near me and I sleep better." She says looking away ashamed that she even asked that. "Of course char you don't need to ask." I say smiling at her and lifting her chin and turning her to face me. I took her hand and led her upstairs to my room and went in my draws to find some pyjamas I get my black Saturn ones and get my grinch ones out for Charlotte. "Here I'll get changed in the bathroom." I say handing her the pyjamas and going to the bathroom.

*5 minutes later*

I was finished changing and i walked out of the bathroom and back into my room and I saw Charlotte still getting dressed and a massive bruise on her back. "Fuck" I heard her say under her breath. "Char what happened to your back?" I asked walking towards her and she pulls the top over her. "Can we get in bed and I'll tell you please." She says and I nodded and got into bed. "Autumn can you hold me please." She ask while looking down at her hands afraid of what I will say.  "Come here then char" I say putting my arm out for her to come and lay on my chest. She cuddles into me and look down at her on my chest.  "Can I tell you about the bruise but don't interrupt me please." She says burying her head in my chest. Okay char I promise I'm here to listen to you." I say.

"Basically 4 weeks ago my car was in for some repairs and a MOT so I had to walk to from work for 1 day. Walking the morning was fine but one way back. I was walking back and I saw two people behind me I thought nothing of it until I walked down the alleyway to get home and they followed me and they started to  speed up running towards me and pushed me against the wall and covered my mouth and said scream and we'll kill you. So I stayed quiet. One of them threw me to the floor and then kicked me in the back repeatedly and punched me in the face and broke my nose and ribs. And then one of them started to take my clothes off while the other kept watchtower make sure nobody was coming". She stopped she wasn't about to say what I think she is. "He took my clothes off and he-he raped me autumn he raped me I swear I didn't want him to do it, I didn't want him to touch I never felt more violated in my life." And she started to cry. "Who was it char." I asked not sure if she knew who it was. "Autumn please don't go mad or hate me, it was your dad Roger and I don't know who the other person was." She said as she nuzzled more into my chest and I felt pure rage. "What." Was I got out and clenching my fists. I took a breath to steady my voice and soften my tone. "My dad, my dad did all that to you." I said and she cried harder into my chest and I felt her nod against my chest.
