The day of the festival, and subsequently the tournament as well, had finally arrived. Civilians, teachers, and students came out in droves, conversing, flocking to stands of exotic cultures, and/or filing into the arena for the age old pastime of watching teenagers fight.
Although they were not teenagers, Baku and Co. were among these teams that would be fighting today, which Team RWBY found out as they checked the matches for the first round.
Ruby: Team RWBY, Team RWBY....oh, there we are! We facing Team ABRN from Haven Academy!
Yang: Hey, who's Team BLST?
Baku: That's Team Bullshit to you dawg
Weiss: Incredibly juvenile name.
Ruby: Oh, hey, you guys got in!
Yang: Wait, who's the 'S'?
Lil Broomstick: Me brodie. Yung Cash Register AKA Lil Broomsssstick
Blake: Then...who's the 'L'?
Bank Bill: Yo
Blake:....Okay then.
Ruby: Wait, how did you guys get a spot? I thought they were all filled.

This observation and following realization catapulted the eight of them into a brief moment of silence.
Bank Bill:...Everybody make mistakes
Ruby: Illegitimate entry or not, good luck out there, you guys!

Conveniently, just as their interaction was growing stale, an announcement came through the P.A. system to force the two groups to part ways.
P.A. System: First bout will begin in fifteen minutes. Teams RWBY and ABRN report to the stadium. Teams RWBY and ABRN report the stadium.
Ruby: Oop, that's us! See ya later, guys!
With that, Team RWBY rushed off in the direction of the arena to prepare for their fight, leaving the four bullshitters to, well, bullshit. Baku doing so in the way he knew best.
Baku: Ight y'all can do whatever the fuck y'all want Imma go eat
And off Baku went, in pursuit of ruining some poor stall owner's day, for no reason other than he don't fuck with food services.
