Paisley's POV
I was just about right when I predicted Adrianna's reaction.
She walked in and I was like, "Dude, you will not believe what you missed!!"
I fill her in on the whole chaos with Ashton and the entire time her eyes were as big as watermelons and her jaw couldve dropped as far as China. It was absolutely priceless.
We get back home at about 7 and I show my parents the clothes, but I honestly couldn't have cared less about what they said. I met Ashton Irwin and I couldn't ask for a better day. Okay well maybe if we got married or something, but that would be asking for wayy to much. Besides, its not like he would ever like me back. Nope, never going to happen.
After a while, my parents notice that I'm floating up on cloud nine.
My dad asks, "You okay? Don't tell me you saw a cute guy or something because I don't think I have the flood kit ready for all your drool." He laughs but I am not even phased by it, it's normal.
"I couldn't have had a more perfect day, Dad. Thanks for asking, but even if I told you, you guys would just make fun of me or not even believe me," I say firmly.
This seems to only add to my mom's curiousity. "Just tell us already. You're bound to spill sometime."
"Okay well I'll be short and straight to the point. I met the guy of my dreams today and I'm positive he will never feel the same," I state bluntly.
"Oh my goodness. What did they have a mannequin or something that looked like Austin or Ashley or whatever his name is?" My dad always teases me like this, it's no big deal.
"Ashton, Dad. It's Ashton for the billionth time. No, I actually met the real Ashton Irwin," I cautiously say, not knowing what theyre going to do. They get so easily irritated when I say a guy is cute or something because I'm still their 'little girl'.
My mom just busts out laughing, and pretty soon she's out of breath and clutching her sides while she laughs her head off. She probably thinks I'm delirious from thinking about 5 Seconds of Summer all of the time.
"Paisley, when will you wake up from your fantasy land and realize that none of this will ever happen. Just accept the fact that they're a band, they're famous, and they have no idea who you are and they never will. Get that through your thick skull and tell us what really happened today when you snap back into reality," my dad says harshly in a rough voice.
Of course I have dreams, I'm a teenage girl. Now some of them might not exactly be the most realistic but I try to pursue them to the best of my ability. My dad has never supported my love for 5SOS or 1D, and I could never figure out why. He was always talking bad about them, as if trying to persuade me that they're not good people. He believes what the news or information tells him, not what he observes and feels about people I'm the exact opposite of him in that way, and I'm glad.
I get so frustrated and I just sigh in annoyance and head upstairs to my room. The story might sound a little far fetched, for a girl from a little city in Southern California to actually meet one of her favorite celebrities on accident, but did they have to be such jerks about it?
I take a quick shower and it helps relieve some of the frustration. I'm in a lazy mood so I throw on a white tee and a pair of black shorts to sleep in. Pulling out my new clothes, I quickly hang them up and I turn my phone on to listen to some music, hoping that it will bring my mood back up and help me drown out my parents' discouraging words.
One new text message received. It was this random number and I was confused for a split second until I remember that I gave Ashton my number. To be completely honest, I thought he was only pulling that move just to be polite or friendly. I didn't actually think he would try to text me. Well, let's just hope this is Ashton at least.
