"You did what?" Hinata exclaimed on  top of her lungs.

""I'm sorry okay! " Hanabi retorted, as she dialed random numbers on her phone. "Unless you'll let me bring Boruto in a bar!".

"Bar?... Hanabi?!" Hinata walk straight towards Hanabi and grabbed Hanabi's phone.

"Hey, give it back Hinata nee-" Hanabi snatched her phone back.

"And before you could think up of something, let me tell you, I just went there to meet my new group-mates for a research!"
"... In a bar? Why not in McDonalds? so you could bring Boruto with you" Hinata crossed her arms trying to calm herself.
" McDonald's? Seriously? I'm already in College nee-chan... " Hanabi said as she dialed a number in her phone.

"Hanabi.. its raining hard outside... hey, Who are you calling?" Hinata asked before Hanabi put the phone near her right ear.

"Boruto.. who else,"

"What? you gave Boruto a phone!" Hinata just can't believe that Hanabi really did that, her son is only 5 years old. She doesn't want her child to be too dependent with gadgets at an early age.

Now that her son is living with her, she really needs a lot of monitoring and catching up to do.

"Yep, and I'll tell him that her beautiful mother is now too worried that he is with his father right now" Hanabi teased as she closed the gap between her right ear and her smartphone.

"Hanabi!" Hinata exclaimed and again tried to snatch the phone away. But Hanabi ran behind the sofa a meter away from her sister and stuck her tongue out but suddenly Hanabi's expression changed, still holding the phone, she looked at Hinata with worried look.

"That's strange?" Hanabi uttered.

Hinata looked at her . "What is it?".

"Boruto won't pick up"

"What? gave it to me!" Hinata grabbed the phone that Hanabi willingly gave away.

But as soon as Hinata put the phone near her ear a familiar voice were already talking at the other line.

"Hey Hanabi, what are you saying?" ... "Hanabi? are you still there?"

"Naruto....?" Hinata whispered the name on the phone in surprise.

"Ehh.. H-Hinata?... Hi!" the voice on the other line sounds a bit surprised too.

Hinata looked at Hanabi, eyes narrowed. Hanabi just shrugged and gave an insane smile and whispered "Got yah".

Hinata composed herself before she answered.

"Where is Boruto..." she tried to sound calm by asking Naruto coldly, but the truth is, her heart is still beating fast from this conversation she is having right now.

"A-actually we're already at your door.. I- I was about to press the bell when I heard Boruto's phone... the kid is already asleep"

"Okay" she answered plainly and ended the call, she threw the phone back to Hanabi who was tactful enough to catch her flying piece of gadget. Hinata then looked at the close door, slowly she paced towards it and pinned a number on the keypad, after a second a soft click was heard and the door slowly opened.

Hinata bit her lip as she saw the figures in front of her. No, she wasn't ready for this, and never did she imagined that she'll ever see such a scene. In front of her was Naruto, wearing a hooded grey sweatshirt and black casual jeans carrying a sleeping Boruto in his right arm. The little blond boy was sound asleep, his head laid peacefully on Naruto's broad shoulder, slightly tilted to the left allowing Hinata to catch a glimpse of her sleeping son.
Seeing her son slumbering peacefully in his father's arms just sent a sudden jolt in her heart that made her quiver.

Years ago when she was still sixteen, she always dreamed for this day, seeing Naruto holding a child, their child. She dreamed of being his wife  and this was part of that dream she always looked forward to but ... that was then.

Right now she just need to compose herself and show no trace of being affected by this man in front of her.

"H-hi!" Naruto greeted. "T-the little guy sure can sleep fast..."Naruto grinned scratching the back of his head with his left hand.

"Come in.." Hinata offered.

"A-are you sure.. I mean.. well... you kinda.. " Naruto seems not to get the correct word to finish his sentence.

"My son..."

"Eh.. what?" Naruto asked not getting what Hinata just said.

"My son is in your arms... " Hinata sighed, averting Naruto's eyes by looking at her sleeping son instead.

"Ah.. yeah.. I guess I am... -ttebayou!" Naruto laughed a bit loud this time making Boruto jerk which alerted Hinata. Hinata, in respond, being a mother, she immediately extend her arms towards Boruto's head and back steadying the little child.
Boruto half opened his eyes, smiled at the sight of her mother and go back to sleep once again at Naruto's arms.

"That was close" Hinata uttered in relief.

"S-sorry, my bad.." Hinata felt the little hairs at her nape rise, she felt Naruto's breath just above her ear.

What Hinata didn't noticed is that, Naruto also responded at Boruto's sudden move, but Hinata's actions were much faster making Naruto's hand fell on Hinata's back rather than Boruto's. Making their situation a bit awkward. -Naruto carrying Boruto with his right hand with Hinata supporting Boruto's head and torso, while Naruto's left hand was on Hinata's back enveloping her in a light hug.

Hinata froze, she can't move... she's afraid that if she'll make a sudden maneuver she might caught that pair of blue eyes which she somehow knew that those blue orbs were already darted towards her.

"Ahem... "

Hinata and Naruto got startled and both looked at where the interruption came from.

"Go get a room will you... " Hanabi offered them a huge grin. She looked at the two ex-lovers, her grin turned into a smile when she saw how lovely the two.. no, the three together, and for the first time in a very long time she saw her sister blushed again.

Hanabi turned her back and with huge steps went to her room. She hoped that the two would settle things as soon as possible. She's been a witness on how those two loved each other and how their love drifted when Naruto leave. But she doesn't blame Naruto, not even once. She knew some of the reasons why her Naruto nii-chan leave her sister six years ago but she choose not to tell her about all of it. She has no right to do so.
