Chapter 10b - Old man

"S-sorry... I didn't mean to... Sorry for being a huge trouble" Naruto slowly removed his hand from Hinata and scratched the back of his head.

"Let's just bring him to his room..." Hinata sighed and took a step back, still avoiding Naruto's gaze.

Hinata turned around and started to pace, Naruto slowly followed. Hinata's unit was huge, it even has a large fire place in the living room. Naruto scanned the place secretly, it's his second time here but the first one was quite .. well it's not too good to remember though.

Large window panels surrounded the whole living area and the huge L shape white sofa was placed elegantly at the middle of it with red and black small square pillows arranged on top. The dining and the kitchen were separated by a red mirror finished bar counter completed with black bar stools complementing the sofa. Naruto continued to scan the whole place until he heard a click, Naruto turned his head to where the sound came from and saw Hinata opened a door at the end of the hallway. Naruto paced faster to catch up, Hinata pushed the door widely to let him in.

Naruto expected to see a small blue painted room with a cabinet full of toys inside but what he saw was way too far from what he had assumed.

He gave a quick glance at the room and instead of blue, it was lavender and white that covered the entire place. The queen size bed is wrapped with white linen and the huge pillows were silk lavender. The wallpaper was also white with small purple accents while the wall where the head board was located was painted by a darker shade of purple.

Naruto raised a brow which Hinata quickly noticed.

"His room is still not ready yet, they just moved yesterday... " Hinata said as she prepared the body pillow, she then tap the bed indicating that Naruto can now put Boruto down.

Naruto can't control the blush that registered on his whiskered cheeks at the thought that he is inside her room, yes he figured that out.

Naruto scoot down and carefully put the sleeping child on the bed but the unconscious Boruto held his arms tightly at Naruto's neck as if never wanting to let go. Hinata did not expect that from her son, she then tapped Naruto's shoulder that quickly caught Naruto's attention, he turned his head to look at Hinata.

"Can you hold him a bit longer... " Hinata uttered.

Naruto nodded, "Uhm ..s-sure" Naruto again hold the little child once more, he then sat at the edge of the bed, half a meter away from Hinata.

"I hope I am not disturbing you in any way... " Hinata said looking at the sleeping Boruto who is still clinging to Naruto.

"No problem, this kid really reminds me of you, yah' know.." Naruto suddenly blurted out casually and looked at HInata, he then realized that he might again make Hinata mad by talking like that, Hinata made it clear that they'll just talk if it is about business and anything beyond that should be kept closed.

"S-sorry for talking to you casually... I-I just can't stop myself..-ttebayou" Naruto averted his gaze away from Hinata and looked at Boruto instead "You have the same eyes shape Hinata, yeah he is a bit hard headed but I don't know whenever I look at him he just reminds me of you". he continued.

Hinata did not say anything in return, she just keep herself busy looking at the lampshade beside her yet listening to whatever Naruto says, then her phone rang.

"I'll just get this" Hinata stood up and leave the room. Naruto looked at the leaving figure, silently, and when the door closed he sighed.

"Is mom still angry at you?"

Naruto looked at Boruto. "Y-you're awake?"

Boruto nodded.

"Brat... "Naruto muttered. "Okay off you go, you know how awkward my situation is with your mom right" Naruto pulled Boruto's arms away from his neck.
