Chapter 16 - The Confession

A week had passed, Boruto is now free from chicken pox and already back to his usual naughty self and so did his parents, who were also back to their busy selves. 

"That's all for today, I want all of your reports tomorrow morning at my table... Thank you everyone" Hinata said as she rose from her seat indicating that the meeting is finally over and that everyone is free to go. 

As the other staffs leave the conference room, Linda, Hinata's secretary stride towards her looking very sophisticated in her black tailored suit.

"Yes Linda?" Hinata asked as she collect her things at the table.

"Ms. Hyuuga, The CEO of Uzushio called and is demanding for your return call after your meeting, he also got something delivered an hour ago and is already in your office."

Hinata raised her brows as her lips creates a letter "O".

What is going on with his mind this time?

Hinata smiled, its already been a week since she and Naruto get back together, yet it seems like its just yesterday when she learned to love the guy once again, rather, proved that she still love the guy just like before.

With their tight schedule and Boruto being sick they only got the chance to see eachother every other two days and three days ago Naruto went to Australia for a business meeting which he almost refused to attend because of Boruto's condition but Hinata threatened him that she will not call or message him for a month if he'll continue with his childish reasoning. Without any options left, Naruto surrendered to Hinata's will and dragged himself to the land down under.

So he's back... ...

Hinata's smile didn't leave her lips as she continued with what she is doing, grabbing her secretary's attention.

"Linda, You can leave now, and please get me some iced caramel macchiato, I want it in my office in the next thirty minutes " Hinata instructed before her secretary can think of anything to ask her about her sudden change of aura.

"Yes ma'am... "Linda answered and immediately leave the place thinking where the nearest *Starbucks from their office is located.

Hinata reached for her phone that is resting at the table top. She key in the password and slide through her contacts until she found that one special number.

"Good Morning, So what's this that you're demanding me for a return call Mr. CEO?"

"Go to your office now Ms. Workaholic..." that was the only reply she received before the line ended.

A smile pulled Hinata's lips once again as she took her pace and leave the room.

Hinata strides with elegance towards her office, some employees greeted her along the way. While some follows her wake whispering how their lady boss seems to be more cheerful these past few days.

Finally, Hinata came face to face with her office door. Her heart beating a bit too faster than normal. She has this hunch that Naruto is planning something for her, slowly she turned the knob and after a quick intake of air she pushed the door open.

She gasped, on top of her table was a large bouquet of flowers, dozens of red and white roses were elegantly wrapped together almost occupying her table.

Hinata walked towards her table and checked the small purple envelope placed on the top of the flowers. She pulled the small paper inside and read.

Turn around...

Hinata raised her right brow in awe, yet decided to comply nonetheless.

Slowly, Hinata turned around.
