Bonus Chapter - Morning After

"Should I trust you Naruto kun?" I asked, if there is one thing I need to know right now is that I can entrust my feelings to him once more.

"You may..." he closed the gap between us and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes as he moved his lips to the tip of my nose. Small drops of tears started to form in my eyes and I let out small sobs that quickly caught Naruto's attention.

Naruto cupped my face and looked at me into the eyes.

"I love you so much Hinata, you never knew how much I missed you... How much I missed your smile, your eyes, your hair... I missed everything about you Hinata... I am so happy right now dattebayou!" Naruto said placing his forehead against mine as his tears continue to flow through his whiskered cheeks.

I continue to sob as I hear his words, it's like all the pain of the years that have past were washed away by those tears.

"I am really really sorry for all the pain and hardship you need to go through because of me... This time I will make everything right... that I promise you Hinata " Naruto moved his hands from my face to my waist, pulling me closer to him.

I buried my face into his broad chest and wrapped my arms around him. How I missed this man, this feeling... this wonderful feeling of him being near, being in his arms.

We stayed like that, in the arms of one another until all the tears were released and dried up.

"Naruto kun ... " I whispered.
"I missed calling you that" I pulled my head back to looked at him and smiled, the smile I used to gave him years ago.

Naruto looked at me and grinned, his signature grin I may add.

"Then I'll make you call my name over and over, scream it even" a mischievous smile tugged his thin lips.

"Eeh?!" My eyes widened as I screamed in shock when I felt Naruto kun's hands crept under the oversized PJ and stopped at my waist feeling my bare skin.

"Naruto ku--" but before I could protest he already sealed my lips with a passionate kiss while his hands continued their way at the bareness of my back causing my entire body to shiver.

Naruto suddenly stopped and bend down and in one swift move he pulled my legs up and carried me bridal style.

Out of shock I automatically wrapped my arms around his neck, gasping as he bit my earlobe a moment after.

He chuckled at my reaction.
"Wh-what are you doing?" I asked as he started to pace.

"You wouldn't want to wake up tired in the sofa ain't you?"

I blushed at his reply as the idea suddenly popped in my head.

Naruto might have noticed me blushing because I saw him grinned before he claimed my lips once more as we entered his room.

I blinked a couple times as I already felt the sun's mild rays caressing my face.

Dark gray ceiling greeted my newly awaken eyes, "Where am I?" I almost asked myself before I realized where I was.

Oh...

My mind was still at bliss, still lost in the happiness I am feeling. I tried to move but my body is aching and too tired to follow my command, instead I closed my eyes and the memory of the past night begun to pop one by one to my still asleep thought.

"Wait? What time is it?" my eyes went wide as I realized that I had something very important to do today.
I immediately tried to get up but to no avail, something is restraining me. I gave a quick glance to see what it is and I saw Naruto kun's arm sprawled over my waist. I turned my head to my right side and I was taken aback by the figure that is lying before me, with nothing but a white blanket to cover his bare skin.

I laid my eyes to the boy, no, to the man slumbering beside me, his blonde hair glistening from the sun's rays, I looked at him in awe. I missed this guy big time, from his whiskered cheek, his prominent jaw line, his thin sexy lips, up to his cerulean blue eyes, actually- everything about him... I thought this day would never come, to be able to wake up with him by my side.

Yes, it is the pain that changed me, it is pain that made me think that I am totally over him, that I don't need him anymore but I proved myself wrong. I am just afraid, it is fear that is keeping me away to accept him again. I am afraid that he'll gonna leave and that he'll break my heart and my entire being once more.

But my own feelings proved me wrong, Naruto's presence alone made me realized a lot of things about myself.

His presence alone had awaken many emotions that I thought I already buried deep down inside me. Yet, I resisted, I resisted because of pride but Naruto break that wall between us. He once again proved himself worthy of my trust.

Right now, no matter what his reasons are, I am ready to accept him because,

I love him... I still love him...

Slowly I placed my hand over his arms and tried to pull it up so I can release myself. Instead he harden his grip and pulled me closer, my back facing him.

"Stay... ..." he whispered from my back, sending a shiver to the small hairs on my nape.

"I, I need to go Naruto kun," I said without facing him, I am afraid that I might gave in if I'll see his pleading face.

"But I still want you here.." his voice husky, he leaned and gave soft butterfly kisses on my naked back.

"Naruto kun... stop it already .. I really need to attend this meeting, my flight will be in three hours" I protested and tried to get up again when Naruto pulled his arm. But to my surprise he pulled himself and pinned me under him.

"Where are you going?" he asked, his arms supporting his weight.

"S-singapore..." I answered. Naruto just looked at me, waiting for an additional details.

"I am going to attend a board meeting, and I'll be gone for 3 days" I explained and end it with a convincing smile.

"Seriously? Geeez I just got you back then you'll leave me already, can I go with you? -ttebayou!" Naruto whine as he pressed his body against mine.

"First, stop teasing me, it will not work" I pinched his nose. "Second, let me off so I could still go home and say goodbye to Boruto before I go" my face more serious now so that Naruto kun would get the idea that I am not playing around.

"Five minutes..." he suddenly mumbled as he laid his forehead against mine, locking his gaze towards me.

"What? Wha-" but before I could finish my question Naruto already grabbed the blanket that's separating us and toss it on the floor and claimed my lips once again.

Oh Naruto... ...

At the end of the day, I've managed to catch up with my flight but due to Naruto's continuous teasing and whinning, the time ran out so I did not get the chance to go home that leads me to calling Hanabi to bring Boruto and my luggage at the airport.
