The rain keeps on falling wildly and her car window is already starting to fog. She drummed her fingers at the stirring wheel as she let out a deep sigh.
"What am I doing here?" she asked herself sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Its been raining nonstop for the last two hours now and she even heard over the radio that there were thunderstorms coming- so why on earth did she dragged herself out here?
Earlier, one of the planners phoned her that a huge problem on one of their project just got worst and their client might withdraw. Normally she would not entertain such call and let the planning department take in charge but no, she took full responsibility to personally check the matter which surprised the planner.
When she received the call, she thought of it as a good excuse to leave her room and be away from him, away from Naruto, she doesn't like how the image of that man carrying her son affects her so much. Even more, she knew deep inside that Boruto was enjoying every minute of it.
Now, she is more than afraid to tell her son who his real father is.
She closed her eyes and shook her head to resign from the thoughts she is having.
"That's strange?" Hinata said as she continue to scan the place, her heart started to race when she realized that she no longer recognized the place. She wanted to curse really really bad.
Not again...Yes, she really hates direction and she never go to meetings or visit construction sites without the company driver since she really had a hard time with directions yet her reckless decision a while ago brought her into this unknown part of Tokyo.
Hinata pulled over at the side of the street, she then looked at her watch... 9:05, its getting late as the wind and rain outside her car were getting stronger minute by minute.
Knowing that she can't do anything but to wait till the rain and wind subside, she reached for the small shoulder bag placed at the passenger seat and scrammed for her phone to inform Hanabi but to her disappointment, it wasn't there.
"What the?"
Hinata felt her heart beat went wild, then the sky roared making her body shiver.
Back at Hinata's unit
"So when will you tell her?"
"I - Honestly I don't know.. believe me Hanabi I really wanted to tell her everything -ttebayou..." Naruto gave a deep sighed and looked at the ceiling.
"Naruto-nii, Is it because of father, there is no reason to be afraid to him now right?"
Naruto fell silent... he just couldn't find the right words to answer Hanabi. Yes there is no reason to be afraid to him, he was never afraid of him on the first place.
He was just bounded by conditions, and the need to wait for the right time.
"Nee-san suffered a lot you know... Naruto nii, if I didn't know the whole story I may be the one who will first kick your ass off!" Hanabi gave Naruto a death glare, Naruto gulped at the sight.
Hanabi continued, "This is not your ordinary broken heart, its not like she just took it in her bed and ate a gallon of ice cream to feel better the morning after... well didn't eat anything more like.."
"Wait... what you mean by that? " Naruto was alarmed by what he heard.
"She could have died"Hanabi said ignoring Naruto's questions,"But you wouldn't know that. You were long gone."
A sick lump formed in Naruto's gut. Running away from responsibilities, from Hinata, from the woman he love.
Hanabi clasped his hands on the table top as she continue. "She pushed herself into exhaustion, she was sent to Europe for college, she was all alone... She never admitted there was anything until she collapsed at school one day." Hanabi stopped and looked at Naruto.
