Chapter 19-After A Long While

"Kurokawa?" I blurted and almost spill my tea. "Seriously?" I continued as I place the tea cup safely at my bed side table and held my phone closer to my ear as if it will change what I heard. Geeezzzz I thought my Monday will start harmoniously!

Yesterday, at the get together Sakura announced that the bride -Tamaki wanted to have a bridal shower so that she can meet all of us. But no decision for the place and date yet, But never did I expect that it'll be in Kurokawa!!!

Kurakawa is one of Japan's most scenic Onsen towns and is very famous for it's hotspring and how the community maintained the traditional atmosphere of the place.

"You know that it's a 2 hour drive from here right? so why the sudden change of plans?" Being a very time concerned person that I am, I really hate such alteration of events. 

I leaned  and rested my entire back on my large lavender pillows, lately I've been experiencing sudden fall of energy and in some instances I just wanted to sleep all day. 

"Hinata,  the bride to be wanted to held the party at her home town. " Ino added. Well it's Tamaki's bridal shower after all, who am I to protest.  I sighed and took a deep breath.

"Hina, are you okay? are you not feeling well?"  a hint of  worry in Ino's voice.

"No, no, I'm okay...  It's just the weather don't worry about me,"

"You sure?"

"Yes, anyway if it's the case let us see eachother in Kurokawa tomorrow night then.  Bye, Yes see you! Yes, don't worry about me .. Im totally fine.. Okay I'll hung up now.. Bye Ino Chan! " I ended the call as Ino kept on asking about my condition continuously. 

I closed my eyes ang started to keep my thoughts all together as my mind instantly works on its own - checking my time schedules, what to bring, the travel, the lodging, what to do first, Boruto's things, toys, and other necessities he will be needing during the trip. 

I took a two weeks off for this trip, and I'm already on my second day.

"Twelve more days to go Hinata, make the most out of it!" I whispered. Kiba's wedding is already this coming Sunday, and Naruto will not be here until Wednesday night.

As a habit, I reached for my phone and check my schedules. and add some notes.

"And there is also Shion's baby shower to look forward to." I smiled, as soon as we go back to Tokyo another party is waiting for me and Sakura's family.

I was in the middle of discussing matters with myself when a loud thud was heared. I quickly opened my eyes and scanned my entire room just to realize that the sound came from the hallway. I stood up and walked towards the door, but before I even opened the door Boruto burst out jumping.

"MOOOMMM!!!" he ran and hugged me on the hips.

"Boruto, what is happening?"

"Mom, I got a new puppy!" 

"Puppy? but, how, when, who?"

"Uncle Kiba is waiting for you downstairs!" he jumped in excitement and immediately ran outside leaving me behind.

"That explains it" So the groom decided to pay his bestfriend a visit, I smiled and paced outside my room to join Boruto and Kiba downstairs.

Before I even got close to them, Kiba turned around and looked at my direction, he let out a small smile that didn't failed to.reach his eyes.
