Chapter 13 - Uzumaki Pride

I pressed the send button and leaned to the full length of my swivel chair's back rest. I really wanna call her right now but she is on a meeting and she firmly told me that I could only call her during evenings, messages were welcome though.

Its been two days since I have not seen her and just a day without her feels like hell. I closed my eyes and took a breath, a deep one. "God, I missed her already!" I suddenly yelled.

"I just called you a while ago and you already missed me? How sweet of you my friend" a sweet bubbly voice asked.

I don't need to open my tired eyes to know who my office intruder is.

I chuckled. "I told you that it isn't necessary for you to go here Shion."

"Well I'm already here so just bear with it" my blonde friend throw her hand bag at the couch and walked towards me to give me a light hug. Well, some things really don't change.
I stood up to welcome her though.

"So, everything okay?" she asked as she looked around my office.

"Well, so far so good.. business is doing fine as always and the new building is already on its way... Hinata ensured me that it'll be finished before spring" I ended with a smile, Shion walked back and forth to each corner of my office checking everything her eyes caught.

"I don't remember that I hired you to inspect my office." I uttered as I put my hands in my pants' pocket.

Shion looked at me and smiled. "Yeah, just checking the interior... Naruto, you're glowing you know that?... I haven't seen you like that in a while"

I was confused by Shion's word.
"Glowing eh? what you mean by that?"

"Is it because of Hinata?" she stopped and walked towards me.

"Most probably yes" I smiled. "You know how I waited for this to happen, you were my sole witness how I struggled abroad to work this company out and be able to claim Hinata back." I stated without averting my gaze.

Yes, Shion knows everything, Especially my where abouts through all of these years. Well it is not planned or anything, it just so happened that one of my new college classmate is her acquaintance and we saw eachother in one of the parties I was invited in.

I have no choice but to tell her the truth back then but to one condition, no one will know especially Hinata.

"So, you already told her everything?"

"Sort of, we haven't got enough time to go with the details... " I answered relentlessly.

"But it is the details that make the world go round, the cream on top of the cake." Shion continued to pushed her agreement.

"I'll go with that later, what important is we're already back as a couple." I countered and resigned myself back at my swivel chair.

"Okay, I'll rest my case then... But one more thing... did you told Hinata about Z~" Shion didn't got the chance to finish her sentence as I slammed my desk so hard that the pencil holder tumbles down making its contents sprawled over my table. She doesn't need to finish what she wanted to say coz' I already knew what it is she wanted to ask, and I am not in the mood for that.

Shion gasped in shock taking a step back.

"I don't want to talk about it Shion, I'll always have the same answer .. and that's final!" I said firmly still looking at my desk, not giving a damn at the mess I've created.

"Okay, okay I understand... but one way or another you know that you can't runaway with that answer of yours Naruto" Shion said picking a pen that rolled on the floor.
