I woke up. I was in a void. It was pitch black, no one there except for the presence of myself. Well, no one that I knew of was there.

I got up as i struggled to pull myself up from the black liquid that sat below me, still.

Where was I anyway? I thought I was at the sleepover with the other hashiras? Why am I here?

"Shinobu." A voice spoke. Who was that? It must be someone I know, because only they would know my name, right?

But who dared to call me by my first name?

"Shinobu, look at me, shinobu!" They pleaded, more desperate.

I turned.

No way.

There's no way.

Okay, so this is a dream.

What do I do?!

Usually, in my dreams, I'd spend time with her like nothing happened, like we're still together. But recently, I seriously didn't know what to do.

I got up, now on my feet.

"Shinobu! You're finally awake!" She yelled. Awake? But this is just a dream.. isn't it?..

I wasn't actually sure myself. I just thought it was a dream due to how unreal this felt.

I didn't know what to do. Should I answer her? It's just a trap, right? I mean, she has been saying some odd things lately.

《 FLASHBACK 》

"Shinobu! Please, you need to come soon! It's not safe there!" She pleaded.

What did she mean by this?!

"Please." She sobbed as she held my hands in hers. I laid there. I was frozen. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to get up. I wanted to stay with her forever.

But I couldn't. I just couldn't if something was bothering me. Her words. What does she mean? How is it 'Not safe here'?

I decided to talk to her.

"What do you mean?" I questioned as I stared up at the startled figure before me.
