It was quite a gloomy day today. The sun was hidden beneath the clouds as they "protected" it.

Shinobu and Tomioka were both busy rotting in their mansions, mixed feelings flooding their minds.

However, Tomioka had other things on his mind besides that. Mitsuri promised to help him with these feelings. Therefore, she's going to fulfil it.

She decided on them all going out together, and she also invited iguro to tag along so it wouldn't be weird.

Tomioka was mentally preparing for the day that was going to happen, whilst shinobu was with mitsuri as they both talked.

"So, Shinobu, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me, Iguro, and Tomioka-san today! We don't have any missions anyway." Mitsuri confessed as she held shinobu's small hands in her palms.

Shinobu blinked, her thoughts flooding in again. The mention of Tomioka made her heart flutter slightly, but she sighed as an attempt to regain her composure and faced the pink haired woman with a smile.

"I'd love to! I'm not busy either, and besides, I think it would be fun. Thank you for inviting me, mitsuri." Shinobu said as a genuine smile soon spread across her face.

Mitsuri tried not to squeal aloud as she was visibly blushing, but shinobu was obviously too busy picturing how her day would be. How would it be between her and Tomioka? Wouldn't it be awkward due to their recent encounters?

"Of course, shinobu!!!" Mitsuri yelled as she let go of shinobu's hands to cover her completely red face. This caught shinobu's attention, and all of her thoughts had fallen like a scrambled puzzle.

She giggled slightly at the sight of mitsuri's embarrassment and patted her shoulder gently. "There there, mitsuri." She said softly. Mitsuri had felt her heart do backflips, shinobu's words touched her soul, literally.

"Well, shouldn't we prepare?" Shinobu said, returning the favour of interrupting mitsuri's thoughts, not like mitsuri minded anyway.

"Y-yeah!" She said as she shook her head, regaining her composure as she got up quickly, holding her hand out for shinobu to grab onto for assistance.

Shinobu noticed this and got up as she bowed slightly before dusting off the haori she wore.

"How about we make some snacks?! And we can eat then we can go for a walk!" Mitsuri suggested.

Shinobu didn't really mind that idea, and she thought it was better than any of the stuff she was imagining, so she proceeded with it.

They both escaped into the Love Hashira's mansion to make delicious pastries for their fellow peers, planning to surprise them as well.

However, with Tomioka, he was pretty nervous still, preparing as well. Well, not necessarily preparing, more like preparing himself and trying to re-register his new timetable for today.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for tomioka since he doesn't usually get invited to such events, especially with so many people.

He kept taking deep breaths, trying to ease out his mind and stop overthinking this. It was pathetic, really. He shouldn't be overthinking about this. It's just a simple meet-up, nothing more.

The time soon came, and all of the Hashiras were inside Mitsuri's mansion, all at the table enjoying delicious pastries Mitsuri and Shinobu prepared.

Iguro very much appreciated anything from kanroji, but he couldn't eat in front of them, obviously.

He didn't have an appetite, but he knew he'd just stuff his face with all of this food when he returned to his residence anyway. Because at the end of the day, it's mitsuri's food.
