The studio felt unusually quiet as Axel stood there, her eyes scanning the faces of her bandmates. The air was thick with tension, something that had been building ever since that night. No one spoke. The hum of the equipment in the background only accentuated the silence, the kind of silence that felt suffocating.

Mino was the first to look up, his eyes cautious but concerned. Lia sat next to him, her face unreadable, but Axel could tell that the guilt had taken root in her. Rika, too, sat quietly, avoiding Axel's gaze. There was something unsaid hanging between them all, an uncomfortable awareness of the distance that had grown between them.

Axel crossed her arms, her posture tense. She had been sitting there for what felt like hours, trying to collect her thoughts, trying to make sense of the whirlwind that had turned her life upside down. But the more she thought about it, the clearer it became: she couldn't keep pretending. She couldn't keep pretending that everything was fine when it wasn't.

With a sigh, Axel finally broke the silence.

"I'm leaving the group."

The words hung in the air like a heavy weight, and for a moment, no one moved. It was as if everyone was waiting for her to change her mind, to take it back, but Axel wasn't going to back down. She had made up her mind. There was no going back now.

"I can't do this anymore," Axel continued, her voice quieter but still filled with determination. "I can't do this secrecy shit. I can't keep pretending everything is fine when it's not. You've all been lying to me, hiding things from me, and it's affecting my mental health. I can't be around people who can't be honest with me, especially when it's something this big."

Mino opened his mouth, but Axel held up a hand to stop him. She didn't want to hear any apologies or excuses right now. She wasn't interested in hearing about how they were "just trying to protect her" or how "it wasn't the right time." It didn't matter anymore.

"I'm done," she repeated, her voice steady now, but the weight of her words still lingered. "I've been pretending, too. Pretending that everything's fine, pretending that I can handle all this secrecy, but I can't. Not anymore."

Lia shifted uncomfortably, but it was Rika who finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Axel, please... Don't do this. We're sorry, okay? We didn't mean to hurt you."

Axel shook her head, not giving her a chance to continue. "You didn't mean to? Well, that doesn't change the fact that you did hurt me. You kept something from me, something huge, and for what? Because you thought I wouldn't be okay with it? Because you thought I wouldn't support you?"

The room was still, everyone waiting for Axel to say more, but Axel's eyes were hard, her frustration bubbling to the surface.

"I've supported you both," she added, her words deliberate. "But you hid it from me. You thought I wouldn't be okay with it, and that's fine. You made that choice. But I can't keep doing this. I can't keep being surrounded by people who think they know what's best for me, who make decisions about me without even talking to me."

Mino finally spoke up, his voice calm but serious. "Axel, you don't have to leave. We can work this out. We can fix this, I swear. We all care about you."

But Axel just shook her head. "I'm sorry, Mino. I've already made up my mind. I need space. I need to figure things out on my own." She turned toward the door, her movements sharp, decisive. "And I need to stop pretending this is okay when it's not."

The band remained silent as Axel walked out of the studio, leaving them behind. The weight of her departure felt like a punch to the gut, leaving everyone in a state of stunned silence.

For the first time, the reality of what they had done to Axel truly hit them. They had pushed her too far, and now they had lost her.
