Chapter - 50

A new dawn begins as the night fades. Nature prepares for a new day. The darkness of the sky dissolves into light, just as light eventually merges into darkness with the coming of night. They are opposites, two things from different poles, with no similarities, yet at the end of the day, the darkness embraces the light, merging into it, only to dissolve again at dawn. Darkness and light complement each other. Love also doesn't see colour or time, and not all love is ordinary; some love is venomous.

A venomous devotion!

It was eight in the morning when Jungkook woke up. His drowsy eyes scanned the surroundings, and as he realised his position, his face flushed red with embarrassment. Taehyung had him wrapped in a tight embrace like a snake cupping it's prey. Lifting his head slightly, Jungkook found Taehyung gazing at him with intoxicating eyes. This made him even more flustered, and he quickly buried his face in Taehyung's chest.

Seeing this adorable act, Taehyung let out a quiet chuckle. The memory of last night flashed in Jungkook's mind, making him blush even more as he tried to hide deeper in Taehyung's embrace. The thought of how boldly he had confessed to Taehyung the previous night brought a mix of joy and embarrassment. The shyness of their intimate moments flashing in front of his eyes clearly.

Unable to resist him anymore, Taehyung gently moved Jungkook to lie on the pillow and propped himself up on one arm, half-leaning over him. Bringing his face close to Jungkook's ear, he whispered softly,

--" Good morning, my love! How was your sleep last night? Mine was quite peaceful, thanks to you.

Taehyung traced Jungkook's cheek lightly with his fingers, a sly smile on his lips. Jungkook, overwhelmed by his teasing words, tried to hide further into the blanket. Seeing this, Taehyung continued,

--" You gave me such a beautiful gift last night. I should give you something in return as well. What does my precious love want? Hmm?

He brushed his nose against Jungkook's in a playful gesture.

Gathering a bit of courage, Jungkook mumbled shyly,

--" Just take me out tonight...

Taehyung laughed out loud at this innocent request. This boy, who had just confessed his love, was asking for nothing more than a simple outing. Tilting Jungkook's chin up with his fingers, he said,

--" You're asking for so little despite all the love you've shown me. Tell me, what else do you want, my little angel? Whatever it is, I'll get it for you.

Thinking for a moment, Jungkook pouted and replied,

--" Right now, I'm hungry. I can't think of anything else!

Taehyung chuckled, kissed Jungkook on the forehead, and said,

--" Alright, go freshen up quickly.

Taehyung then scooped him up and carrying him to the washroom. He set Jungkook down, kissed his forehead again, and left the room.

Jungkook smiled softly to himself as he got ready. Wearing a red gown, he stepped out of the washroom and found Taehyung exercising on the mini terrace. The elder had always finished his morning workout before Jungkook woke up who glanced at him briefly and smiled before turning to the mirror to check his reflection. He felt strangely complete as he looked at himself.

Smiling faintly, Jungkook dried his hair with a towel, placed it on the dressing table, and chose a set of necklaces from a jewellery box. He put them on, along with the diamond pendant Taehyung had gifted him. Taking one last look in the mirror, he adjusted his clothes and made his way to the terrace.
