Chase and Skye arrived at Gabriel's safehouse garage with the crystals in hand. Chase parked Bruce's Camaro in its spot, and they exited the sports car. They realized that Ryder, Zuma, and Rocky had just gotten there. They were exiting the Silverado and walking over to Chase and Skye.

"Hey, guys," Skye called out. "How'd it go?"

"It went great, dude," Zuma said as he hopped out of the truck. "We arrived at this junkyard where the biker gang hangs out. We slowly make our way in from a . . ."

"Maybe we should wait until we're all here," Ryder interrupted. "Where's Marshall and Everest?"

As if on cue, they heard the screeching of some tires in the distance. They turned in time to see Marshall drifting around the corner and parking the Lamborghini in its designated spot. Marshall turned to everyone, smiling like a maniac. "We're back," he stated.

"We noticed," Rocky said. "Having fun driving that car."

Marshall unbuckled his seatbelt and got out. "Oh, yeah. It handles like a dream, and the engine's roar is amazing, especially at high speeds." Instead of walking towards them, Marshall went around the car and opened the door for Everest, who was still in her seat.

"Everest, how did you feel about the car?" Skye asked.

Everest turned to Skye with a half-hearted smile. "It's nice, but I probably could've gone without drifting around every corner and driving so fast." She took Marshall's offered hand to help her out of the lowered vehicle.

"I'm really sorry, Everest," Marshall remarked, "but driving that car at the speed limit should be illegal, especially without working stop lights in the city. I'll drive slower next time. Promise. It just felt right to drive fast." Marshall turned to Chase. "Don't arrest me, please."

"Don't worry, Marshall. I'm not wearing my badge right now." They all laughed at the conversation.

"Well, let's go inside," Ryder said, looking at his watch. "It's a bit past four o'clock. They might be waiting for us."

Ryder was right. As soon as they entered the dining room, Gabriel, Bruce, and Ainsley were talking to each other while looking over a map. Dave was at the other side of the table eating a footlong sandwich.

When Dave saw them, he quickly swallowed the food and turned to them. "Oi, did you find what you were looking for?" The team pulled out the crystals and showed them to him. "Well, look at those beauties. Good on ya, mates."

"Excellent job," Gabriel called out from the other side of the table. He called them over to sit down. "Now, We've always been fond of stories. My people will serve us lunch while you guys tell us everything." The servants brought out some peanut butter sandwiches while the groups explained their part of the mission. At some point, Dave moved closer to hear better.

They took turns sharing their experiences. They talked about how they arrived, what they saw, battling the superpowered leaders, and coming out victorious. With every new piece of information, the others got more intrigued.

"We tied Vivianne and Butcher together with some rope and left with the crystals," Skye finished the story.

"Well, that settles it," Gabriel said. "You guys are awesome. I don't know what to do with all this new information, but we'll figure it out."

"Oh, that reminds me," Everest said. Everest reached into her pocket, pulled out a USB drive, and put it on the table. "Here's the information we took from the tower."

Bruce reached over and examined the drive. "This could be useful when we build a case against these guys. Thank you."

They were all in conversation when someone spoke up from the hallway. "What did I miss?" they asked.

They all turned to see Rubble walking out of the hallway and into the dining room. "Rubble, you're standing!" Rocky exclaimed. He quickly got up, followed by the others to greet Rubble.

"Yeah, it's insane," Rubble replied. "My leg feels amazing."

"How?" Zuma asked. "Dude, you had a broken leg. You shouldn't be able to walk."

"Honestly, I'm as confused as you are."

"It might've been the crystal," Ryder hypothesized. "The power energy must've not only given him powers. But the ability to heal at an alarming rate."

"That's good to know," Rubble said. Chase and Skye looked at each other, both thinking the same thing. They looked at Chase's arm. The sleeve was still cut, but the injury had healed itself already.

"Well, what's the plan, Ryder, sir?" Chase asked.

Ryder thought about it. After today, we have five days until the attack on Crystal Coast. Let's use that time to train and practice. We better be at the top of our game when we face The Copycat and Harold. We'll train as much without your powers as you will with them. We don't know what The Copycat and Harold have planned."

"Bruce and I will go through these files Marshall and Everest brought back," Gabriel said. Maybe they have some insight that we could use. They are the most diverse data company around here. Perhaps they have something on the villains."

"I could help you train," Dave said. "Back in Australia, I was a fighter. I want to help as much as I can."

"Me too," Ainsley said. "I don't know much about training, but I can assist however you need." "Awesome! The more hands, the better," Ryder replied, feeling energized.

"Let's meet tomorrow morning to strategize our training sessions," Chase suggested, looking around at everyone.

They nodded in agreement, ready to face the challenges ahead. As they cleared the table and prepared to leave the dining room, a sense of unity filled the air. With newfound energy and determination, each member was eager to sharpen their skills and strengthen their teamwork, knowing that the battle for Crystal Coast was just around the corner.
