Harold and The Copycat made it back to Mayor Humdinger's lair. "So, how did your long-needed victory go?" the mayor asked sarcastically. The Copycat hissed at the mayor but kept on walking. "That good, huh?"
"Chase, Rocky, and Zuma were at the Lookout," Harold said. "The others stopped The Copycat on the mountain, and those three got me at the bridge."
"I thought Chase went up to the mountain," the mayor said.
"He was on the mountain," The Copycat said. "But thanks to his detective skills, he realized it was a distraction. Ryder sent him down to the Lookout to stop Harold there."
"I knew this plan was going to fail," the mayor said.
The Copycat glared at him. "Oh yeah?" How could you have possibly known that?"
"Because we've tried that before," the mayor explained. "Me, Harold, that mad scientist from Adventure City, we all tried it. We keep on underestimating the little heroes. They're unbeatable."
"They're not unbeatable," The Copycat retorted. "They're an obstacle that we keep aiming too low for. We need something new. We need a plan that they could never see coming?"
"Ryder and Rocky are building something," Harold said. "I didn't get a good glance, but enough to know they have an enormous invention in that garage. If we can find out what it is, we can use it for our benefit."
The Copycat pondered on it. "Use their invention against them. I like it, but we must figure out what it does."
Harold raised his hands. He grabbed random pieces of metal, wires, and copper using the power of The Copycat's tooth crystal. He forged them to make an emblem shaped like a gold and purple cat.
"What's with the arts and crafts project," the mayor asked.
"Uncle, this is more than just a 'project.' Both eyes are cameras that can get a hundred-eighty degree view in high resolution of anything in front of it." Harold tossed in the air, and some chopper blades popped out, allowing it to hover. "I can control it from here, and we can see what it sees on the screen. We can also hear what they say."
"How many of those can you make?" The Copycat asked.
"How many do you want?"
"We'll need a minimum of five of them. That way, we can get the most information out of it."
Harold raised his hands. In a matter of seconds, five identical robots stood on the desk, waiting for directions. "Alright, head to the tower," Harold told the bots.
The robots extended their propellers and flew out of the cave. "So how long until they get to the Lookout?" The Copycat asked.
Harold pulled out his laptop and began doing the math. "If they are flying at a speed of roughly fifteen miles an hour," he stated, "And they are going straight from here to the tower. They should get there in about two hours."
"Two hours?!" The Copycat asked.
"Yeah, that's what I said," Harold said.
"What are we supposed to do for two hours?" The Copycat asked.
Harold shrugged. After that, the three members left in separate directions. Harold went to the monitor to ensure everything went smoothly with the drones. The Copycat went to the top of the cliff to sunbathe in the little sunlight they had in Foggy Bottom. The mayor took his kittens outside so they could play for a bit.
Although it felt like an eternity to them, the ride was nearing its end. The drones were arriving at Adventure Bay. They made their way to the Lookout. The three members watched as the tower entered view on all the screens.
Harold moved the drones around the Lookout, which was now in its original form. He sent one drone to the top floor, one to the tower entrance, one at a distance, and the last drone in front of the garage bay doors.
"Harold, why did you put a drone in front of the garage?" Mayor Humdinger asked. "Do you wanna watch how Ryder fixes his vehicles?"
Harold scoffed. "No, Uncle Mayor. While at the Lookout, I saw something Ryder and Rocky were building. I want to know what it was. With luck, we get to find out what it is."
Mayor Humdinger nodded understandably. His nephew was becoming more power-hungry than he was. The mayor could only hope that Harold knew where the limitations were. From what he's seen, their feline partner was still finding it out.
"And now, all we do is wait a little bit more," The Copycat said. "Then we will have enough power to take over Adventure Bay."
They watched as Ryder led the pups outside and gathered them together. "Pups," Ryder said through the audio, "there is something I have wanted to show you."
