Ryder watched as Marshall launched a column of fire at The Copycat. Ryder couldn't believe what he was seeing. Marshall should not be able to do that. The others were caught in green chains hovering a few feet off the ground. The Copycat managed to take the fire mainly undamaged.

The blast launched The Copycat backwards. In shock, The Copycat lost his connection to the green chains, so they dissipated, making the others fall. Marshall was under Everest, so he caught her while the others landed on the ground.

"Thanks, Marshall," Everest said.

"N . . . No problem," Marshall said as he put her down.

The Copycat grunted in anger. "You can't get away that easily." The Copycat used his magnetic powers to grab all of the broken cages. He held them together and launched them at the team. Luckily, everyone got out of the way.

Ryder was going to step out and help them, but he heard the soldiers behind him, so he hid. He knew they had orders not to interfere with The Copycat and the Paw Patrol, so they kept going down, searching for Ryder. Ryder watched the fighting from his hiding spot.

The team regrouped, and Chase turned to look at them. "Okay, I got a plan. Zuma, you're up." Marshall handed the crystal to Zuma. "Zuma, is there water anywhere nearby?"

Zuma closed his eyes. He felt the water coursing through the pipes in the wall and ceiling around them. The water was moving nonstop, thrashing and turning, trying to expand, but was limited to the boundaries of the plumbing system. "Yes," he answered. "There's water in these pipes."

"Then direct it through the sprinkler system and aim it at The Copycat," Chase ordered.

Zuma followed Chase's orders. He used the crystal's powers to guide the water towards the sprinkler head. As the pressure built up, the sprinklers exploded with water. The Copycat tried to control the water but quickly fell into a whirlpool, with only his head sticking out.

"Everest, freeze that water." Zuma quickly gave Everest the crystal, who froze the whirlpool before The Copycat could break free.

"Not again," The Copycat grumbled as he struggled to break free.

"We don't have long," Chase told the team. "We need to press that button. Everest, stay here and keep on adding ice."

"Got it, Chase," Everest said as she extended her arms forward and shot ice at the frozen whirlpool.

"I'll stay with her," Marshall said. Chase nodded as they ran to the button.

"You won't win that easily," The Copycat yelled. "Harold," he called out. "Bring him out."

Chase and the others stopped what they were doing and looked around. Bring who out? Then they saw Harold. He was pulling a cage on wheels, and Ryder was inside the cage. Ryder's hands and feet were tied. He sat on the cell's floor, looking at the Paw Patrol.

"You can either press the button and stop us or save Ryder," The Copycat announced. "You can't do both."

Everest looked away from The Copycat for a second to look at Ryder. The Copycat used the opportunity to break through the ice. Marshall was able to pull Everest out of the way before a large block of ice crashed where they were standing.

"Make your choice, Paw Patrol," The Copycat said. "Oh, and to keep things interesting. Harold, raise the button." Harold pressed a button on his wrist, and the button rose higher. The pedestal where the button was grew in size until it was halfway up the room's height. Pressing the button got a lot harder.

Chase looked at Ryder. Ryder nodded, knowing that Chase could figure something out. Chase turned to the floor in front of him. The crystal had launched out of Everest's grasp and landed at Chase's feet. Chase noticed Rocky to his left and the pieces of broken metal around them.
