Yeonjun's eyes fluttered open, the harsh light of morning flooding the room, and he found himself disoriented on the cold floor. His muscles ached from the previous night's intensity, and for a moment, he couldn't remember how he ended up there. He turned his head, squinting in the direction of the couch, where Beomgyu was sleeping peacefully, wrapped in a blanket. The sight made his chest tighten, his gaze softening at the sight of the peaceful figure. The remnants of last night lingered in the air, leaving a heady mixture of guilt and affection in Yeonjun's heart.

His thoughts were interrupted by a loud, insistent knock on the door.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Startled, Yeonjun jumped to his feet, heart pounding, adrenaline rushing through his veins. He didn't want to wake Beomgyu, especially after everything that had happened. Quietly, he padded over to the door, his footsteps light as he braced himself for what awaited him.

As soon as Yeonjun opened the door, Kai, looking mildly annoyed, walked in without hesitation.

"Why did you lock me inside?" Kai's voice rang out, sharp and questioning. He stepped inside, his eyes scanning the room, and then he froze. His gaze landed on Beomgyu, still sound asleep on the couch, a blanket draped over him.

"Why did you both sleep outside?" Kai continued, a frown pulling at the corners of his mouth. "You should've woken me up."

Yeonjun winced at Kai's sudden burst of words. The last thing he needed was Kai poking around, asking questions, especially with the tension still hanging in the air. He quickly stepped aside, trying to keep the mood light. "You were sleeping soundly and making noise at night, so we had to sleep outside," Yeonjun lied smoothly, offering a calm smile, though his voice betrayed a slight edge. It wasn't the full truth, but it was enough to deter further questioning.

Kai raised an eyebrow, still clearly puzzled, but he didn't press the issue. "I guess I can't help how loud I sleep," he muttered, though there was a hint of humor in his tone. Still, his eyes kept flicking back to Beomgyu, and Yeonjun caught a glimpse of curiosity in them.

Beomgyu stirred slightly on the couch, pulling the blanket tighter around himself, blissfully unaware of the ongoing tension. Yeonjun's heart raced as he watched the scene unfold. He didn't know how much longer he could keep the dynamic with Kai at bay. He was just grateful that Kai hadn't caught onto anything yet, though his presence was a constant reminder of the delicate balance he had to maintain.

Kai eventually seemed satisfied, though his expression remained slightly skeptical. "Alright, whatever. I'm starving. Let's get breakfast started."

Yeonjun nodded, trying to keep things casual. "Sure. I'll make something." He turned to glance at Beomgyu one more time, a subtle smile tugging at his lips. "I'll wake him up later," he added, keeping the tone light to avoid any suspicion.

As Yeonjun and Kai entered the kitchen, ready to make breakfast, a sudden, sharp scream pierced through the air.

"Ahhh~!"

Both of them froze before their instincts kicked in, and they bolted back toward the living room. The sight that greeted them sent a jolt through Kai—Beomgyu was crumpled on the floor, his hands clutching at the couch as if he had tried and failed to steady himself.

"Beomgyu!" Kai shouted, rushing to his side with a look of panic. He crouched down, placing a steady hand on Beomgyu's shoulder. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Beomgyu winced, shaking his head. "I... I can't walk," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"What?!" Kai's concern escalated. "Why? What happened?!"
