Elena laughs and opens the double doors. She's face to face with Klaus. "There's my girl." Klaus says. "Klaus!" Elena exclaims. "You're supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?" Klaus asks.
Stefan wakes up. Rebekah and Artemis are looking at him. "Oh, he lives." Rebekah says. "Shame." Artemis says. "What happened?" Stefan asks. "You took a beating. My brother's been breaking your neck all afternoon, quite the temper." Rebekah says. "Why did he bring us back to Mystic Falls?" Stefan asks. "You can stop playing dumb now. It didn't take Artemis long to figure out what you've been hiding." Rebekah says. "I'm not hiding anything, I've done everything Klaus has asked me to." Stefan says. "No, you just failed to mention that the doppelganger's still alive." Rebekah says. "Where is Klaus now?" Stefan asks. "With any luck, ripping that cow's bloody head off." Rebekah says. He rushes over to her but is pushed back by a magical force. "Where is she?" Stefan asks. "You really do love her, don't you?" Rebekah asks, she pushes him against the truck and picks up a crowbar. "Consider me jealous." Rebekah says, she drives the crowbar through his abdomen and after a few seconds, Artemis snaps his neck.
Klaus is holding onto Elena's arm and they're walking through school. "You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids, I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing." Klaus says. "If you're going to kill me, just do it!" Elena exclaims. "Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways of making you suffer." Klaus says. They enter the gym. A few students are inside putting together pranks. Klaus speaks with an American accent. "Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over, head on home." Klaus says, he sees Dana and Chad. He gets closer to them and speaks with his normal accent. "You two, I remember you." Klaus says. "I'm sorry, who are you?" Dana asks. "Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met." Klaus says, he compels her. "Lift your foot up, please, Dana." Klaus says, he looks at the boy. "If she drops her foot, Chad. I want you to beat her to death. Understood?" Klaus asks. "Don't, Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody." Elena says. "Oh, come on, love. Of course I do." Klaus says.
