Season 2 Ep 22

Elijah takes Klaus and Artemis deep into the woods. Letting Klaus go, his bones breaking as he shifts. Artemis whimpers, watching her father in pain, wriggling in Elijah's arm to be put down. After Klaus had shifted, Elijah puts Artemis down and she goes straight to Klaus. He rubbed his head against hers before they both ran deeper into the woods. Leaving Elijah behind with a shocked look on his face. While Elijah was cleaning up Klaus mess, he watched as Klaus killed a deer, dragging it over to Artemis for her to eat first.

Klaus wakes up, naked. He looks at the sun and smiles. Someone throws him some clothes. He turns his head to see Elijah is leaning against a tree. "You've been busy." Elijah says. "That was amazing. How long has it been?" Klaus asks. "Almost 2 days. Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf." Elijah says as Klaus starts to get dressed. "I can change at will, then. It's good to know. I remember every single kill." Klaus says. "Yes, I've been cleaning up your little mess along the way." Elijah says. "Just like old times, brother." Klaus says. "You've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain." Elijah says. "That's right, now what was it again? Oh, yeah, wait. I remember. That's it, you wish to be reunited with our family." Klaus says. "You gave me your word, Niklaus." Elijah says. "What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me." Klaus says. "I could have, but I didn't." Elijah says. Elijah helps Klaus put on his jacket. "And now no one can. Not even you. Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven." Klaus says. "Where are they?" Elijah asks. "You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough." Klaus says. "Who's the young wolf?" Elijah asks. "My daughter." Klaus said. Elijah's face morphs into a shocked look. "That's impossible." Elijah says. "Clearly not, brother. Seeing as she exists." Klaus says. "How it that possible?" Elijah asks. "Her mother was a chaos witch. She accidentally lost control of her magic while we were..." Klaus trails off enjoying Elijah's reaction. Elijah groans, not wanting to hear about his brother's sex life. "I didn't know about her until after her mother died. She used her magic to find me." Klaus says. "Who did she kill?" Elijah asks. "The man that killed her mother. She lost control of her magic." Klaus says. Elijah looks at him intrigued. "How old was she?" Elijah asks. "Two." Klaus replies. Elijah looks shocked. Artemis walks to where her father and uncle are with her bag. Upon seeing her father, she ran to him, calling his name. "Papa." Artemis says. Causing Klaus to turn around and pick her up. "Did you enjoy the past two days?" Klaus asks. "I did, Papa." Artemis replies. Elijah smiles at his brother, seeing him generally happy for the first time in years. Maybe there is hope for him after all. "Artemis this is your uncle Elijah." Klaus says. "Hi." Artemis says, placing her head on Klaus's shoulder. "Hello, Artemis, it's nice to meet you." Elijah says.

Stefan enters Alaric's apartment. Katherine is sitting on Alaric's bed. "Hello, Katherine." Stefan says. She gets up. "Two days. I've been waiting. I'm supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now. He's supposed to be dead." Katherine says. "We ran into complications." Stefan says. "Complications?" Katherine asks. "Doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" Stefan asks. She pushes him against the wall and tells him to shut up. Klaus and Elijah arrive, along with Artemis in Klaus's arms. "Klaus, you're back. Look who decided to come for a visit." Katherine says. Klaus looks at Stefan. "You just keep popping up, don't you?" Klaus asks. "I need your help... for my brother." Stefan says. "Well, whatever it is, he's gonna have to wait a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." Klaus says. Klaus puts Artemis down and she walks over to the couch, taking a seat. Elijah looks at Stefan. "You understand how important family is, or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." Elijah says. "And so I shall." Klaus says, making Elijah turn around, Klaus stabs one of the dagger dipped in white oak ash through Elijah's heart, killing him. Artemis debates using a pain relief spell, but after trying to kill her father and putting him through pain she decides against it. Klaus looks at Stefan. "Now, what am I gonna do with you?" Klaus asks, he puts a stake through him. "Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart. The slightest little movement and you're dead." Klaus says. "He's just trying to help his brother." Katherine says worriedly. "The witches said you had a cure, make me a deal. Just give me the cure, and I'll do whatever you want." Stefan says from the floor. Klaus pours himself a glass of blood. "Trouble is I don't know if you'd be any good to me the way you are now. You are just shy of useless." Klaus says. Klaus has a glass of blood in his hands. Katherine and Artemis are looking at them. "I heard about this one vampire, crazy bloke, always on and off the wagon for decades. When he was off, he was magnificent, 1917. He went into Monterey and wiped out an entire migrant village... a true ripper. Sound familiar?" Klaus asks. "I haven't been that way in a very long time." Stefan says. "Well, that's the vampire I can make a deal with. That is the kind of talent that I can use when I leave this town." Klaus says. Stefan gets up. "Katerina, come here." Klaus says. Katherine gets closer. He takes her arm, his face changes, his eyes are yellow and he bites her. "Aah! Aah! No, No... No, No, No," Katherine exclaims. He bites his wrist and makes Katherine drink his blood. The bite wound heals. Klaus then looks at Stefan. "You want your cure? There it is." Klaus says. "Your blood is the cure." Stefan says. "Gotta love Mother Nature." Klaus says. Klaus holds Stefan by his shoulder. "Now... let's talk, you and I." Klaus says. Klaus bites his wrist, letting his blood fall into vial. Stefan is looking at him. Katherine is in retreat, looking at them. "There it is. You want to save your brother? How 'bout a decade-long bender? And I have big plans for you when we leave this town." Klaus says. "I'm not like that anymore." Stefan says. "Well, that's too bad. You would have made a hell of a wingman." Klaus says, he pours some blood in the sink. "Wait." Stefan says. "Now that's more like it. I want you to join me for a drink." Klaus says, he throws him a blood bag. Stefan drinks, taking a sip. "Finish it. All of it. You do everything I say and I save your brother. That's the deal." Klaus says. Stefan drinks all of it. Klaus throws him another blood bag. "Again." Klaus says. Stefan drinks. Artemis gets up from the couch to grab her sketchbook and comes back to the couch. Starting to sketch, knowing this will take a while.

There are a lot of blood bags on the ground. Stefan is drinking one and looks at Klaus. "You're very cooperative. It's almost as if you're enjoying it." Klaus says, he gives him another blood bag. "No more, not until you give me the cure." Stefan says. "Not until we make a deal. It's your choice, Stefan. You can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls, or you can embrace what you truly are, leave town with me, and save your brother's life." Klaus says. Stefan takes the blood bag and drinks. "That's the spirit." Klaus says, he takes the vial with his blood and looks at Katherine. "Sweetheart..." Klaus says, he compels her. "Take this over to Damon and come right back." Klaus says. "You want me to leave?" Katherine asks. "No!" Stefan exclaims. "Yes and if I were you..." Klaus says. She takes the vial and disappears. "I'd hurry." Klaus says. Klaus takes a seat next to Artemis looking at her drawing. "She'll never take it to him, she'll never take it to him." Stefan repeats.

Klaus stands over a coffin that Elijah resides in, looking at him. Artemis is next to him. Two men hover around them. "I suppose, brother, you've been reunited with our family." Klaus says, he closes the coffin and looks at the two men. "Put him with the others. We're leaving town tonight." Klaus says. They put him with the other coffins. Stefan receives a text from Elena telling him that Damon's okay and asking him where he is. "So... did Katerina make it in time?" Klaus asks. "You won't be seeing her again. You know." Stefan says. "Because she's on vervain." Artemis says, making Stefan look at her. "I've been around a long time, Stefan. I rarely get played for a fool and Artemis is very observant. Besides, she won't get far. You'll help me see to that." Klaus says. "What is it you really want from me?" Stefan asks. "All will be explained in time. Once we leave this tragic little town." Klaus says. "Then are we done here? Can we go?" Stefan says. "Not quite. You see, I have a gift for you." Klaus says. "Go wait in the car, Little Wolf." Klaus says. "Okay, Papa." Artemis says. As Artemis walks to the car. A girl walks into the warehouse. "Come here, sweetheart, don't be afraid." Klaus says. The girl joins them. Klaus looks at Stefan. "See, I wanna make sure you honor our deal... that you'll be of use to me." Klaus says. He bites the girl's neck and drinks her blood. "I could have compelled her to behave. But a real ripper enjoys the hunt." Klaus says, he releases her. She leaves, screaming. Stefan stops her, bites her and drinks her blood until she's dead. Klaus looks at him. "Now we can go." Klaus says.
