Katherine and Damon are looking at his werewolf bite. "So that's what a werewolf bite looks like." Katherine says. "Yep." Damon says, "It's not that bad." Katherine says. "Will be." Damon says, he gets up. "So that's it? You're just... going to die?" Katherine asks. "Well, that depends. You know anything about a cure?" Damon asks. She doesn't answer. "Me, either." Damon says. "And who was the kid?" Damon asks. Katherine opens her mouth, about to answer, but close it afraid what Klaus will do to her if she tells Damon about his daughter. "Guess he compelled you not to say." Damon says, he puts his jacket on. "145 years and no last goodbye?" Katherine questions. "You don't get a goodbye." Damon says. She intercepts him. "No, don't leave." Katherine says. "Us ending up on good terms isn't exactly on my bucket list, Katherine." Damon says. "Klaus made me call Jenna to lure her out. There was nothing that I could do. I didn't have a choice." Katherine says. "That's why I gave you the vervain, so you had a choice." Damon says. "It was her or me. I chose her." Katherine says. "I helped you. You owed me, now when Klaus dies. You're going to walk out of here without a scratch and Elena's aunt dies. Somehow you're the only one that wins. How'd that happen?" Damon asks. "I didn't let love get in the way." Katherine says. "Enjoy eternity alone, Katherine." Damon says. "What are you going to do?" Katherine asks, "I'm going to offer myself as a replacement to Klaus." Damon says. "He won't take you, he saw your bite. He said that your blood is impure. I'm sorry, Damon. But Jenna's dead, there's nothing you can do about it." Katherine says.

Elena and Jenna are sitting on the ground. "Oh, my head, what's wrong with me?" Jenna asks. "Do you remember what happened?" Elena asks. "You called me, you were so scared. Oh, ah, I should have realized that it wasn't you. The second I walked out of the house, someone grabbed me. A vampire." Jenna says. "Klaus. It was Klaus." Elena says. "He made me drink his blood and I don't... I don't remember anything after that." Jenna says, she looks around her. "Where are we? What happened?" Jenna asks. "We're at the quarry, he brought us here." Elena says. "Why don't I remember anything?" Jenna asks. "Jenna, do you remember... when I told you how someone becomes a vampire?" Elena asks. "Yeah, if you die with vampire blood in your system. It's... oh, God, he killed me." Jenna says. "Jenna, listen to me, listen to me. Everything's going to be ok, I'm going to get you out of here." Elena says. "I'm a vampire?" Jenna asks. Greta arrives. "And I bet you're hungry." Greta says. Elena sees a rock on the ground and tries to run over to it but Greta throws her away with her powers and creates a circle of fire around Elena. She can't get out of the circle. "Don't bother trying to get through. I spelled the circle, you're trapped, no matter what you do." Greta says. "Greta... please, just...just let her go." Elena says. "Klaus chose her." Greta says she cuts her wrist with the rocks and gets closer to Jenna. "Drink it." Greta says. "Jenna, don't!" Elena exclaims. "I can't." Jenna says. "Let her go. Hey!" Elena exclaims. Jenna drinks the blood from Greta's wrist. "No!" Elena exclaims. "That's enough." Greta says she gets up. "It's going to be ok." Elena says. Greta creates a circle of fire around Jenna. "Look at me. Hey, look at me." Elena says. Jenna turns her head, her face has changed. "It's gonna be ok, it's gonna be ok." Elena says.
