Damon's phone rings. He answers. "You're interrupting my drink." Damon says. "Miss me?" Katherine asks. "Where are you?" Damon asks. "Lurking outside your window, pining away." Katherine replies. "What do you want?" Damon asks. "I'm homesick, what have I missed?" Katherine asks. "Well, Stefan's still Klaus' little prisoner. Elena still thinks she can save him and no one's thought about you since you left. Unless you know something about the kid with Klaus then you'll be useful." Damon says. "And what about you? I'm sure now that you've given up on your brother. You're plotting some sort of way of moving in on his girlfriend. Klaus compelled me not to talk about the kid." Katherine says. "I didn't give up on him. I just don't know where he is. So you do know who the kid is?" Damon asks. "Hmm." Katherine says. "But you do. Are you trailing them?" Damon asks. "A hybrid who wants me dead and his sidekick who's off the rails? I couldn't be further away." Katherine says. "Which means you know exactly where they are." Damon says. "All I know is that Klaus pitched a fit once his hybrids didn't work. Now he's looking for some answers." Katherine says. "How do you know that?" Damon asks. "Spend 500 years running and there will be a few people along the way that are looking out for you." Katherine says. "Is that what you're doing? Looking out for my brother?" Damon asks. "Maybe, maybe not. I'm conflicted." Katherine says. "Where are they?" Damon asks.

Klaus, Artemis and Stefan get out of a car. Artemis is holding Klaus hand. "Welcome back to Chicago, Stefan." Klaus says. "What are we doing here?" Stefan asks. "I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days." Klaus says. "Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur." Stefan says. "Well, that is a crying shame. The details are what makes it legend." Klaus says. "Word was the ripper of Monterrey got lonely. So he escaped to the city for comfort, it was prohibition. Everything was off limits then. Which made everything so much fun." Klaus says. "Chicago was magical." Klaus says. "Yeah. Well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it." Stefan says. "Ready to get down to business, then?" Klaus asks. "Why am I still with you? We had our fun, your hybrids failed. I mean, don't you want to move on?" Stefan asks. "We're going to see my favourite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her." Klaus says. Artemis clears her throat causing both of them to look at her. "Sorry, Little Wolf. My second favourite witch." Klaus says.
