Elijah is walking around Esther's study and finds the burnt sage his mother used last night. Downstairs, Rebekah enters the living room, where Kol and Klaus are. Klaus and Artemis are on a couch sketching. "Well, well, well... there's our girl." Kol says. He stands before her and blocks her way. "Get out of my way, Kol." Rebekah says. "Out all night, what a scandal. I trust you did better than that commoner, Matt was it?" Kol asks. "If you don't shut your mouth the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth." Rebekah says. She pushes him. Klaus and Artemis smile. "Don't start, Nik, or you Little Flower." Rebekah says. "I didn't say anything." Klaus says. Artemis lightly laughs. Kol sits down. "I'm bored. Our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun. I need entertainment." Kol says. "What are you waiting for? Go on, have at it." Klaus says. "It's no fun to go alone. Join me, Nik. It's the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart." Kol says. "Ok, why not?" Klaus asks. "What's a strumpet?" Artemis asks. Klaus gets up. "Nothing you need to know about Little Wolf." Klaus says, sending a glare Kol's way, before kissing Artemis's head. "I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Klaus says. "Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around in it." Rebekah says. "Just like you, Bekah." Kol says. They leave. Rebekah throws her shoe at them. Artemis laughs. "Good riddance, both of you." Rebekah says. Elijah enters the room with the burned sage in his hand. "Rebekah." Elijah says. "Not you, too, Elijah." Rebekah says. "I'm worried about Mother. Have you not noticed her strange behaviour?" Elijah asks. "She's been dead for a thousand years. What's strange for her?" Rebekah says. "Burned sage, she was doing a privacy spell." Elijah says, showing her the burned sage and she takes it. "You're know she fancies such things. Why don't you ask Finn? He's been doting on her." Rebekah says. "I don't trust Finn. He hates what we are, he always has." Elijah says. "You not wrong, Uncle Eli. I can always smell disgust and hatred around him." Artemis says. Elijah and Rebekah look at her before Rebekah turns back to Elijah. "Mother, she returned for one reason, to make our family whole. She loves us. What trouble are you looking to find?" Rebekah asks before walking upstairs. Elijah looks at Artemis. "What do you think, little Máni?" Elijah asks. "I don't like Esther." Artemis says. "Why not, little Máni?" Elijah asks. "Papa kills her and she forgives him even after she puts a curse on him and lies to him about how to make his hybrids." Artemis says. Elijah hums. "And a waiter gave me a weird looking juice at the ball. I didn't drink it since Papa told me not to take drinks from strangers." Artemis says. Elijah's in thought. "Stay here little Máni." Elijah says.
