Damon is tied to a chair, like Mason was when he killed him, his ring is on the floor. Artemis is on a chair nearby, she had been watching as Mason tortured Damon. Stefan walks in. "Low blow, Stefan. Low blow." Damon says. "What the hell happened to you?" Stefan asks. "Whatever twisted ripper game this is, leave me out of it." Damon says. "I didn't do this." Stefan says. "Quit screwin' around!" Damon exclaims. "I didn't." Stefan says as he checks the chain. "It's pretty messed up though, isn't it?" Stefan asks. "Yep." Damon says. Stefan removes the iron stick. Damon screams. Artemis laughs, making Damon glare at her. Stefan begins to remove the chains but stops and leaves. Mason is there, watching them, but Damon can't see him, but Artemis can sense him. "Yeah, not to worry, I'll just untangle myself, or you could help me Devil spawn." Damon says. Artemis shakes her head. Mason opens the curtains so the sunlight can enter the room. Damon's skin burns, he screams. Artemis laughs again.

Artemis is in the room she and Rebekah are staying in, sketching, when she feels a familiar presence. She looks up. "Mama." Artemis says. "Hi, baby." Rose says. "How are you here? I know the other side is down, but..." Artemis asks. "I've been watching over you baby, following you." Rose says. "I wasn't sure Klaus would be a good father, but seeing how he is with you and how he treats you, I would say he's pretty good." Rose says. "Papa is the best Papa ever." Artemis says. Rose sits down next to Artemis playing with her hair. "Baby, look at me." Rose says. Artemis looks at her mother. "I want you to know I am proud of you. Everybody does some wrong things in their life and makes mistakes. I'm not angry at any of the ones you've made. I'm your mother and I love you, like the Mikaelsons say, Always and forever." Rose says. Tears fall down Artemis's face. "I love Mama, Always and Forever." Artemis says, before hugging Rose, Rose returns the hug and kisses Artemis's head as Artemis cries in her mother's arms. They pull away and Rose cups her daughter's face wiping her tears away. "Want me to sing you to sleep like old times?" Rose asks. "But when I wake, you'll probably be gone." Artemis says. "Yeah, but I'll always be with you just on the other side, watching and following you wherever you go. I will always be in your memories and your heart." Rose says. Artemis gets under the covers. Rose tucks her in and lies next to her starting to sing.

Bonnie is looking at her grandmother. She's crying. "I can't believe you're here!" Bonnie exclaims. "Now stop your crying, we don't have time for tears." Sheila says. She looks at Caroline. "Nice to see you again, Caroline." Sheila says. "Hi, Miss Sheila." Caroline says. Sheila looks back at Bonnie. "A fine mess you've made, honey. The witches told you there'd be consequences to bringing Jeremy back and you did it anyway." Sheila says. "I didn't have a choice. I love him and I... I couldn't just let him go." Bonnie says. "I understand, but you cracked open the door to the other side. There's an old witch over here, she took advantage of it. She took advantage of you, honey. When you did that spell to send Vicki Donovan away, she wedged the door wide open. Giving a free pass to anybody with unfinished business." Sheila says. "How do you know this?" Bonnie asks. "Witches talk, even on the other side. Who do you think makes all the rules?" Sheila says. "What does the witch want?" Bonnie asks. "That's original vampire business, not yours. I don't want you getting in the middle of that, especially with the hybrid's daughter. I'm here because you upset the balance of nature and it's your duty to set it right. You need to close that door." Sheila says.
