Stefan enters the house. Klaus is in the living room, sitting in a chair with Artemis in his lap. Both are listening to music on the stereo at a loud volume while Klaus is sipping on a glass of bourbon. Stefan takes the remote and lowers the sound. "What are you doing here, Klaus?" Stefan asks. "Enjoying our stalemate." Klaus says. "What do you want?" Stefan asks, "Question is, what do you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded. So please tell me what I need to do to get my family back." Klaus says. "Well, ahem, see, Klaus... I'm not negotiating." Stefan says he sits down next to him. "And you understand that holding them indefinitely is the same thing as dropping them in the ocean?" Klaus asks. "No, no, you leave Mystic Falls and then give me a call in a few years and...we'll talk." Stefan says. "I'm going to give you another chance, just one more, let's make a reasonable deal." Klaus says. "Or what? You make one move, and I will..." Stefan says. Klaus laughs. "Yes, that's right, crazy Stefan." Klaus says. "Any friends left?" Artemis asks. Stefan doesn't answer.
Artemis has a map of Mystic Falls in front of her and candles around it. "I need your blood, Papa." Artemis says. Klaus holds his hand out above the map. Artemis uses her magic to cut his hand. Klaus blood dripping on the blood before healing. "Phasmatos Tribum Nas Ex Veras!" Artemis chants. Klaus's blood moves on the map.
Klaus and Artemis arrive at the location and enter the room with the coffins. There are candles lit everywhere. The coffins are invisible. Suddenly the candles burn brighter and Klaus falls to his knee, clutching his head and shouting in pain. Artemis uses her magic to stop the witches. "Well, you know the funny thing about the witches is that living or dead, they care about their own. A hundred dead witches have a thousand living descendants...and I have no problem killing every last one of them if I don't get my coffins back. As we speak, my hybrid friend is prepared to end the Bennett line. Now...please...show me the coffins." Klaus says. The coffins appear. "Here we are." Klaus says, he sees that one coffin is missing. "Where's the fourth? Show me!" Klaus exclaims. "It's not here, Papa. They must have moved it." Artemis says.
Daniel is helping Klaus put the coffins in a room. "You have your family back, finally. You're going to open them?" a hybrid named Daniel asks. "Not quite yet. I still have some unfinished business to take care of." Klaus says. "What business?" Daniel asks. Suddenly, Daniel starts to squirm and falls to the floor, dead. Elijah is standing behind him with his heart in his hand. Klaus looks shocked. "So, Niklaus..." Elijah says. "Elijah." Klaus says. "What did I miss?" Elijah asks.
