It had been a few days since the chaotic mall trip. The memories of namjin's matching aprons, yoonmin's matching pajamas, and Jungkook's ice caps still lingered.

Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves in a new crisis. Their mothers, filled with determination and an unspoken alliance, had cornered them into attending a camp that promoted "spiritual connection" and "personal growth."

The flashback was still fresh in Jungkook's head.

"You'll love it!" Mrs. Kim exclaimed, too cheerful.

"It's a great opportunity for self-reflection," Mrs. Jeon had added with an agreeing nod.

"Yeah, no thanks," Taehyung said, arms crossed.

"I have plans," Jungkook said quickly. He knew his mother knew too well his "plans" mostly involved video games and snacks.

But their objections were not effective. Their mothers had already signed them up, leaving the two staring at each other in disbelief.

Three days into the camp, Jungkook found it... not terrible. He kind of vibed with the morning meditation sessions, though he'd never admit it. Taehyung, on the other hand, hated every second. The yoga lessons were the worst, he found them dull. So dull, that he regularly dozed off mid-session, annoying the instructor. Taehyung would rather do an extra rep of every workout known to man than sit and stretch around like a ballerina. It "wasn't his style."

This camp also brought the two to be dorm buddies. They shared a snug room with a creaky, old bunk bed. The first night had been a disaster.

**Flashback(?)**

"I'm taking the top," Taehyung said as soon as they walked in to see the bed.

"Why do you get the top??" Jungkook huffed, and crossed his arms.

"Because I called it first, princess."

"Don't call me that, muscle pig!"

"Then stop whining and take the bottom."

The banter went on for forever before Jungkook finally gave up, grumbling. He flopped onto the bottom bunk. But by the second night, the roles switched.

"I don't want to squash you if I fall," Taehyung said nonchalantly, tugging Jungkook toward the ladder. "Take the top, princess."

"I'm not—"
"Up you go."

Perhaps Taehyung had felt bad for the other, or maybe just didn't like the top. Regardless, he gave away his spot so that Jungkook could have it, which made Jungkook's heart do a little flip, though he ignored it.

Though Jungkook took the top, one particular night changed things. He had a nightmare, not that he'd ever admit that, and woke up in a cold sweat. Slowly and hesitantly, he whispered into the darkness, "Tae?"

Taehyung groaned, half-asleep. "What?"

"Can I... can I sleep down there with you? Just for tonight?" Jungkook's face was on fire, even in the dark.

Taehyung moved, making room. "Sure, princess." he teased. "Had a nightmare?" he continued.

Jungkook didn't answer, too embarassed. If he told Taehyung, he'd never let the boy live it down.

Despite the teasing, there was worry in Taehyung's voice. Jungkook climbed down, settling beside him.

Although Jungkook did ask Taehyung to sleep beside him, he regretted doing so. Now, he was so wide awake, he couldn't get a wink of sleep. He kept flinching at every small motion from Taehyung, be it turning sides, or moving closer to Jungkook. He was aware of it all.  He didn't know why he was like this. He slept just fine at their many sleepovers and night-ins. He'd become more aware of the boy since then, though. Finally, Jungkook fell asleep, thanks to Taehyung's calm presence.
