The next day, Taehyung and Jungkook agree to meet afterschool at their school's local library to discuss schedules about their unfortunate tutoring situation.
At the library, they were supposed to come up with a schedule peacefully and leave.
However, that plan did not seem to be in either Taehyung or Jungkook's horoscopes today.
"Why can't you just teach your stupid algebra on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays?" Jungkook questioned, clearly frustrated.
"Like I told you, my 'stupid' algebra can't be taught on those days because they all end with 'day'." Taehyung says matter-of-factly.
"For God's sake, Kim, ALL days of the week end with "day." So can you please stop being a dumbass and cooperate for Christ's sake?" Jungkook says, exasperated.
"Whatever. If it's that easy, why don't you teach your essay bullshit on those days?" Taehyung asks, completely ignoring Jungkook's earlier statement.
"Well, your "essay bullshit" isn't exactly as simple as it sounds, Kim." Jungkook replies with a scoff.
"You think writing a paper is just piecing together a few sentences and quitting, but it takes time and effort to actually make something worthwhile," Jungkook says, expression softening a little as he talks about his favourite subject.
Taehyung is temporarily stunned by Jungkook's look of admiration for English.
He didn't know Jungkook could even make expressions like that. He always seemed so uptight.
"Not that you would know anything about that." Jungkook adds bitterly.
"Wow, excuse me for not being as gifted in the art of writing as you are, Jeon," Taehyung retorts sarcastically.
"Not all of us are as naturally gifted as you with your perfect grammar and flawless sentence structure, y'know" Taehyung adds with a roll of his eyes.
Jungkook's eyes widen slightly. "Wait- I didn't mean it like that-"
"Anyways, if you think it'll take more time and effort, you should take those three days and I'll do Tuesdays and Wednesdays," Taehyung says.
"Right... but I also need time to learn Math and stuff so.." Jungkook says, kinda embarrassed, putting a hand on the back of his neck.
He doesn't like admitting his weaknesses infront of others. Even if it was indirectly.
Taehyung shrugs.
"Fine, one less day for me to have to learn, I guess."
Jungkook exhales, relieved they came to an agreement at least.
Though, if this continues, tutoring will be quite a wild ride.
Now that they came to an agreement, they are eager to finally leave the library.
Jungkook was going to go home with Jimin while Taehyung was going to ride with Yoongi.
However, what the two boys didn't know was that Yoongi and Jimin were actually conversing with eachother during their little bickering session.
30 minutes ago:
Yoongi and Jimin came separately with the two boys, who promised it would only be a short meeting since they were only setting schedules.
Said boys had not returned, and it had been 15 minutes since they're "short meeting" declaration.
And so, Yoongi and Jimin were left waiting for the boys outside the library.
Yoongi, shivering form the autumn cold, curses Jungkook and his immature ass probably arguing the fuck out of poor Taehyung.
Jimin, however, was not cold. He knew Taehyung would pull a stunt like this, so he came well prepared with a nice, warm jacket.
As Jimin looks around, he notices Yoongi shivering.
Jimin takes his hat off and holds it infront of Yoongi.
"Here," Jimin says a little grufly. "You look a little cold."
Yoongi looks at Jimin as if he's an alien, but takes the hat nonetheless.
"Thanks," Yoongi says monotonously.
"I suppose we should get comfortable around eachother. We are, after all, going to be seeing a lot of eachother from now on" Jimin says with a laugh.
Yoongi only nods in response
"Not much of a talker, are we, eh?" Jimin questions playfully.
Yoongi nods again, making Jimin laugh.
Yoongi smiles a little. He likes Jimin's laugh.
*End of Flashback*
Taehyung and Jungkook exit the library, schedules finally planned, with grumpy looks on their faces.
"Let's go! ," both boys say at the same time grumpily as they head towards their hyungs' cars.
Yoongi and Jimin give each other knowing looks and head off after the two boys.
"Great. Only took," Yoongi looks at his watch. "45 minutes." Yoongi mumbles.
A/N: This was a pretty short chapter. I'd make it longer, but I don't exactly know how to without combining my other, already pre-planned, chapters 😅
