The gang: Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook sit in the poloce station, awaiting their turn. The police officers working the desk informed them earlier that it would be a while before they would get their turn. Apparently, the station was "packed" to the point where some of the officers hadn't had their lunch breaks yet, even though it was well near supper time.

While Taehyung went out to retrieve better medical supplies for Jungkook's arm (he insisted he'd go since "his princess" was hurt, he said teasingly), Namjoon and Jin were lecturing Jungkook about his risky, but beneficial, move.

Finally, as Taehyung returned with medical supplies, an officer informed the gang that it was their turn. While the rest of the gang went ahead, as per the officers' request, Jungkook and Taehyung headed into the on-site nurse's office.

The nurse made small talk as she put a cast around Jungkook's arm. Taehyung stood next to "his princess" the entire time, anxiously waiting, wincing everytime Jungkook grimaced in pain.

"So, how did ya get an injury like that, honey?" the nurse asked, in a southern drawl.

"Oh, uhm, I- uh" Jungkook began.

"It was just a little injury from a criminal" Taehyung said bitterly.

The nurse eyed him, giggling. "Ah, you must be his boyfriend? Well then, he's in good hands, sir."

"uh- we're not-" Taehyung and Jungkook said in unison.

"That's what they all say." The nurse interrupts. Finally, she finishes tending to Jungkook's wounds, and leaves without another word.

Jungkook, flustered with the attention and sudden accusation, turned bright red. "Uh- what was she talking about, am I right? haha" Jungkook said nervously, coughing to cover up his embarrassment.

Taehyung smiled lazily. "Yeah, but wouldn't we be cute together, princess?" he teased, his smile growing bigger by the second.

Jungkook's eyes widened. He looked like a deer caught in headlights. "I- er- what?"

Taehyung burst out laughing. "Pfft! You should've seen the look on your face! Relax, princess. I'm only joking." he said, calming down now.

Jungkook rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I knew that." he lies.

Finally, the two return to the officer's desk. To their suprise, their friends were not the only ones there. Jungkook's mother was also present. Jungkook ran up to his mother and gave her a light hug, being careful of his own arm.

His mother gasped. "What happened, baby?" she exclaimed, shocked at his injuries.

Jungkook laughed nervously. "Nothing much, it was just Dad."

Jungkook's mother must've known what they were up to, because she nodded sadly. "Yes, I've been thinking about that recently."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "How did you get here?" he asked, curious.

"We called her here." Namjoon said. 

Jin nodded. "Yeah, we thought she should know. Besides, she's the only qualified adult that knows about his tendencies."

Jungkook nodded slowly, now understanding. "So, er- what did the officer say."

The officer himself replied to this question. "Unfortunately, your camera and recordings were damaged during the outlash of your father. So the most we can do right now is schedule a trial, as fast as possible, and file a restraining order on him."
