(does anyone else have cute pictures/reels of taekook saved on their socials??)

The days following after the isit to the police station have been fairly calm. Jungkook and his mother now stay with Taehyung and his parents. During the day, the boys head off to school, attend their classes, head back home for tutoring, and hangout or go out someplaces. Thier days seem to go in a well formed routine. Taehyung has even once mentioned of how "boring" it was to wait for the trial.

As hard as Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok have been working with the lawyer, with the occasional visit from Jungkook's mother, Taehyung can't help but impatiently ask questions related to the trial.

One day, however, Jungkook has had enough.

"Dude! Can you chill for a second? You're freaking out about the damn trial more than I am." Jungkook says exasperatedly on their way to class.

Taehyung laughs awkwardly and kicks a few pebbles while walking. "I know, I know. I'm sorry. I guess I'm just worried about your situation with your dad. I mean, the faster it's over the better, am I right?" he says, rubbing a hand on the back of his neck.

Jungkook shrugs. "I guess. But you don't have to stress yourself out about it, tough guy. I'm sure everything'll be fine. I mean, we have one of the best lawyers, right?"

Taehyung nods. During their visit to the police station, Taehyung had insisted on getting a private lawyer. Apparently, the public ones weren't exactly "helpful."

Funnily enough, Jungkook disagreed with Taehyung, and the two bickered over it for two days. Eventually, Jungkook gave up, about to schedule for a private lawyer until Taehyung decidedly booked one without him knowing, thinking Jungkook wouldn't agree and it was best to act instead of ask.

Jungkook hadn't forgiven him for days. He gave him the silent treatment both at home and school. Even his mother was shocked the boy would treat Taehyung like so. Taehyung felt like he'd die before the boy'd speak to him again, so he quickly apologized. He couldn't handle another day without talking to "his princess."

Of course, soft-hearted Jungkook forgave him; he didn't exactly like the silent treatment either, but was too prideful to bother to stop.

They arrive to class, well on time.

"What first period?" Jungkook asks as he scrolls through his phone, leaning on his locker, which was next to Taehyung's.

His arm had now recovered well enough that he could do daily activities, but it still hurt at times. The doctor had said "it would go away with time," so Jungkook wasn't too worried.

"P.E" Taehyung says excitedly.

Jungkook looks up groans, annoyed. Taehyung flinches at his reaction and coughs, covering his red face. Jungkook doesn't notice, he's too annoyed with class to care.

"Man I hate basketball. And he makes us play it every damn time." Jungkook says, referring to Mr. Sam, their P.E teacher.

Taehyung laughs, a little more breathy than normal, still not fully recovered from Jungkook's earlier reaction. "Dude, calm down. I'm sure you're not as bad as you say you are."

Jungkook rolls his eyes. "You're only saying that now. But watch, he's gonna make you go on the opposite team, and make me play center on mine. Then, you beat me, and he goes 'yayy' and leaves."

At this, Taehyung bursts out laughing. "What type of fantasies do you even have of Sam anyway?" he teases.

Jungkook's cheeks slightly turn a shade of pink. "I don't!" he says defensively. "I'm just saying, you have no idea what the games are like because you're always on the other side of the gym." he explains.
