Chapter Ten: 1,000,000 Light Years

Almost immediately after Jake and Rose escaped, Dubleka A fell to the ground and passed out. The other three Dublekas were about to jump out of the window and chase the limping escapees. They were ready to wrestle them to the ground and take them back to the mansion.

"Stop!" a voice commanded. Dublekas B, C, and D all turned around to see their leader, the leader Dubleka, at the doorway. "Let them run. We'll find them soon enough. For now, get this one to a hospital... now!" The three Dublekas picked up the fallen Dubleka. They ran out of the mansion and rushed towards the closest hospital.

With all four of his minions at the hospital, the leader Dubleka had time to himself to think long and hard about his life. He was able to reflect on his past, live his present, and predict his future. He observed every up and down in his life. His past was rough and depressing. His present was improving, with some holes in it still. His future seemed bright and amazing.

When the leader Dubleka was born, his parents were the leaders of the Dublekas' home planet. After he grew up and his parents passed away, he took control of the planet. He became the leader, the king, of the Dublekas. They were a peaceful bunch, never causing harm to each other. There never was a major problem or awful situation on their planet. All of the Dublekas were happy. That was until one day, when their peace was ruined.

A black hole was closing in on the Dublekas' planet. The only ones who managed to escape were the leader Dubleka and five other Dublekas. They barely escaped though, getting onto an emergency rocket ship and leaving the planet while it was being devoured. The entire Dubleka race and their home planet were eaten up by the black hole. It was such a terrible sight for the leader Dubleka to see, especially since he was the leader of the planet. He lost everything in the blink of an eye.

After their home planet was destroyed, the leader Dubleka and the five other Dublekas decided to search for a new planet for live on. They traveled through many galaxies, searching for planets that they could survive on. It was very hard to find a planet that compared to their old planet. They had been searching for so long, they practically gave up on finding an appropriate home. Well, then they found Earth.

The six Dublekas immediately fell in love with Earth when they saw it. When they landed on the planet, the landscapes took their breaths away. The glimmering, blue oceans made them want to swim in them forever. The tall, snow-covered mountains made them want to hike all of the mountains of the Earth. The long, gleaming meadows made them want to dash across them, enjoying the peacefulness of them. Earth was the most perfect planet for them... except for one thing. The people.

The leader Dubleka and his minions hated the people on Earth. To them, their personalities were strange and different. They thought the cultures they had were unlike anything else. The Dublekas' lifestyle was the complete opposite of the average human's.

They had traveled through time and space to find the perfect planet for them to live on, and they were not going to let humans crawl all over it and ruin it. The Dublekas planned to rule the Earth and then conquer the stars of the universe! They had traveled over 1,000,000 light years to get there, and they weren't going to surrender to the humans. Each and every light year traveled was going to be worth it.

They had a plan that was going to go into action soon. The plan was to wipe out the human race so that the Dublekas could rule Earth. Then they'll control the universe and all of the other planets too. They would become supreme and unstoppable. But they had to kill Jake and Rose first.

The leader Dubleka knew that Jake and Rose were a part of the organization S.T.A.M.P. He knew about S.T.A.M.P when a couple of the members had broken into their hideout to take pictures of them. He had caught them, and that was when he connected all the pieces of the puzzle. He realized that group wanted them gone and would do anything to stop them and their plans. When he saw Jake in the S.T.A.M.P building after he and his minions had bombed it, he knew that he was the chosen one in the rumored prophecy. Since Rose was with him, it was obvious that she was helping him. The leader Dubleka knew that they had to kill them. After they were gone, nobody would be in the way to stop them.

The leader Dubleka already knew his future was going to be perfect. He'd never have a single worry... ever. His plan would go perfectly, and he'll be the ruler of the universe. The leader Dubleka smiled, evil invading his smirk and eyes.

Hey, this is the author! So I know it's not very far into the book, but I hope it's really good so far. I don't really know if anyone is reading it though. So... I don't know. That's not going to stop me from continuing to write this though. I don't care if one person reads this or if over a million do. I'll still write. So... I hope you liked the chapter!
