At the closest airport possible, Rose and Jake paid for two last-minute plane tickets to San Francisco, California. They didn't really know what to do now that they had finally killed the Dublekas. They didn't know if they'd stay friends or stop talking to each other. Everything that they had planned for the future involved the Dublekas. Now that they had won, they... had a blank canvas in front of them that was their future.

They sat in the airplane while staring at each other. Getting lost in thoughts about each other, they let their minds daydream about their love. Since the Dublekas now didn't exist, their minds were free to think whatever they wanted. Then they'd look away when catching themselves staring for too long.

"Now that this whole Dubleka thing is over... I feel like I should tell you something," Jake whispered. "Rose... I don't know how you feel about me, but... I noticed through this journey that... my feelings for you are stronger than they ever have been for any other person." Rose blushed and smiled.

"I'm glad you feel that way, because I feel the same way about you too," Rose whispered. Jake grinned widely.

"Will you do me a favor and be my girlfriend?" Jake asked. Rose's eyes widened as she nodded and smiled. Jake and Rose held hands, not hesitating to show affection for each other.

"Since we both will live forever... we'll have our infinity together," Jake whispered. Rose nodded and smiled as she thought about that. Then it slowly faded.

"Do you ever think memories of fighting the Dublekas will be revived in our dreams or reality?" Rose asked in a worried way.

"I hope not," Jake answered. "But if they do, I'll be happy because I spent every minute of fighting the Dublekas with you." Rose smiled. "Now we must turn the page in the chapter of our life. We must continue the life we wanted to live."

"I want to start college," Rose whispered. "I was about to start before we went on this journey. Now that I missed my opportunity... I don't know what I'll do."

"You still have a chance," Jake sighed. "I finished college right before this whole Dubleka madness started. I'm going to get a job as a surgeon. I want to continue saving lives. What are you going to do?"

"Journalism," Rose answered. "I've always had a strange interest for doing that." Jake nodded. The two of them sat together, just enjoying the existence of each other.

"Hey, have you heard the recent breaking news?" a man who sat across from Jake and Rose's seats asked. The two of them looked over at the man and shook their heads. "Some abandoned building exploded near the edge of Florida. So far, nobody's been found. I think they found some bodies, but I'm not sure."

"Oh... yeah, we heard about that," Jake answered while smiling at Rose. She smiled back, knowing what he was talking about. The man glanced at them both, shocked and perplexed.

"Why are you smiling?" the guy asked. "There have been no survivors."

"Oh, we apologize," Rose giggled. "We were thinking about something else." The man rolled his eyes and continued reading the news story on his phone. That was when a flight attendant announced that the plane would be taking off in about five minutes.

Hours after the plane landed in San Francisco, Jake and Rose had bought an apartment together. They also bought other essentials so that they could live together. Rose started her education at a college for the next two years. She had gotten a part-time job being a bartender at the time. Jake earned a job at a local hospital as a surgeon. He did the evening shift, so he was always around for half the day.

After Rose graduated college, she got a job being a journalist at a famous news channel. She did the ten o'clock news seven days a week. Rose kept her job as being a bartender and did that overnight two days a week.

About two months after Rose graduated college, Jake and Rose were still happily living a stable life. They were still dating and living together. That was when Jake proposed to Rose. She happily said yes, and they got married a year later. They were living their infinity together.
