Chapter 14: It's All About Me

The leader Dubleka found Jake and Rose very easily. He was in his UFO with his four minions, watching them from above the clouds. They saw the two of them staring at each other with silly grins on their faces.

"When should we go and attack?" Dubleka A asked. The leader Dubleka stroked his chin, thinking hard about what to do.

"How about... give it five minutes, and then we'll go and attack," the leader Dubleka decided. The four Dublekas nodded and scurried around to different parts of the UFO.

"My plan is going perfectly," the leader Dubleka thought. "Soon, after all those bratty humans are dead, I'll take over this world and universe. Then, it'll be all about me."

Not only did the leader Dubleka want a home for the alien race, but he wanted attention. He was secretly planning on sparing some humans and making them slaves... to give him the attention he craved. He loved attention more than anything else. It was like an addiction to him; he was addicted to attention. He needed it to live. The leader Dubleka even had another plan, that the other Dublekas were helping him with, to try and make humans live forever somehow. That way, they could live forever to give him attention until he died.

Then the leader Dubleka realized... he could use Rose and Jake as test monkeys! He could try his new idea on them and see what would happen. That was one of the few reasons he wanted them. Also knowing they were the chosen ones, and that they had the potential of killing him and the other Dublekas, he knew he had to kill them before they killed him.

"Sir, five minutes have passed!" Dubleka C announced. Dublekas A, B, and D heard this announcement and ran to where Dubleka C was, waiting for further instructions from the leader Dubleka. The leader Dubleka had a huge, evil smile on his face.

"Then let it begin," the leader Dubleka laughed. The Dublekas landed the UFO quietly onto the ground. Jake and Rose seemed to not notice, being lost in their thoughts and each others' eyes. They all sneaked out of the UFO and surrounded them.

Jake and Rose finally snapped out of their zoning. They gasped when they saw Dublekas A and C in front of them. They turned around to see the leader Dubleka, Dubleka B, and Dubleka D standing behind them. Jake and Rose were surrounded, with no way to escape from them.

"You two aren't going anywhere," the leader Dubleka giggled. Jake tried to punch Dubleka B, who dodged it because of his incredible speed. Then Dubleka A kicked him hard in the gut, causing him to fall and double over in pain. Rose, angry about what he did to Jake, tried kicking Dubleka A in the face. She was stopped by Dubleka D though, being punched to the ground.

"Put them in the sacks," the leader Dubleka ordered. Dubleka C and Dubleka B put a sack over Jake's head, while Dubleka A and Dubleka D put a sack over Rose's head. They carried them back to the UFO, with the leader Dubleka following close behind. As he shut the UFO door, he smirked to himself.

"Soon, it's all going to be about me," the leader Dubleka thought as the UFO flew away.
